I hope you had a good Saturday...
we only got up to 42F and it was cloudy all day...
but it was still better than what we have had...
check out the 'new' guy...
the first sighting of the woodpeckers this year...
beautiful...
and look what I found!
its green!
and the lilac has buds...
and the last remains of a huge snow pile...
where the city plow left all of the snow...
there's a murder of crows flying behind the limbs...
and I love the yucca...
always green...
puttered today, but not hard...
DH got a hair cut, which never takes me long...
Bebe got a bath and blow dry and a slight trim with the scissors...
paws mainly and around his eyes...
we all went for a walk...
talked to one of the neighbors...
I am slowly letting the guys in on some of the plans for spring...
already getting eye rolls...
I know better than to let them know everything all at once...
they would run away from home for sure...
;)
no plans for tomorrow...
just hanging out and if I feel like it, some more cleaning...
hope you have a good Sunday...
and don't forget the clocks!
so excited about having the sun shine a little bit longer in the evening!
Looking like Spring IS coming there, Tete. One day at a time. Crazy old man winter might be finally dipping his head and slipping away.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! Yep- can't let too much out of the bag too soon or you will scare those boys away for sure.
Have a wonderful Sunday tomorrow- xo Diana
but I don't want to spring forward yet.
ReplyDeleteA Murder of Crows, I've heard that before, but still don't understand it.
Saw a hawk land in a neighbor's yard on Thursday, wish I'd had a camera, I was coming home from therapy.
Tete, We were out yesterday too. Ted put the cupola up on the garage. I looked about at all the clean up we are in for. Lots of small branches and twigs, much cutting back of plants. I laughed when you said you cut your hubby's hair. I cut Ted's with a Flo-be....it's an attachment that hooks up with the vacuum cleaner. Works like a charm:):) You are smarter than those fellows ...shh not telling them all your yard plans...cracks me up. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteOhhh look at that beautiful woodpecker! I think I saw one, the other day, but he was wayyyyyyy down the street, so I couldn't really tell.
ReplyDeleteWe still have a lot more snow left than you do. But I'm happy for you, 'cause it makes you so happy, to see it gone.
Oh, oh! Better hope your men don't read your blog! 'Cause you laid out a lot of plans for your yard, here. If they see them, they just might "run for the hills"!!! -giggggles-
Shushhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... WE won't tell, though....... ,-)
Gentle hugs,
Tessa~
