while walking Charlie...
this is where I decided this should go...
and Craig dumped a bag of top soil in here...
but he is going to need more, so it sits awhile until that happens...
we have plants left over for that and a few more pots for the deck...
snap dragons...
this is what I planted yesterday...
and here, plus the weeding and getting all the tiny maple trees out...
and then we made it back to the veggie garden...
and what did we find?
bean greens!
we had just a few barely peeking through last night...
and look at them now...
in 24 hours!
DH did a wonderful job cleaning up the bird bath yesterday...
we let it soak in bleach while we were working outside...
and the tomatoes...
notice the small pop bottle in the middle...
that's to water them...
it will hold water and slowly release it into the soil...
if we end up with a dry summer, I will stick them in my pots, too...
radish and maple trees...
DH even got my rose bushes dusted yesterday...
and then someone had to rest, so we sat a spell out under the shade trees...
and he did his first selfie...
he is checking everything out now...
this little bundle of fun who was scared of everything just a few weeks ago...
is getting pretty brave in his old age...
;0)
he even discovered the rain gauge tonight...
its one you stick in the ground...
I thought he was going to pee on it, but he didn't...
they put the permanent port in my sister in law today and later in the week they are moving her to a rehab place...
she is back on dialysis...
I am not sure how long she will be there...
small steps and God's grace...
that's all you need...
continue your prayers for her and her husband and daughter...
the guys had to head back to work today...
so a nice quiet day with Charlie...
I have a drs appointment on Friday to drain one of the fibroid cysts in my breast...
its all swelled up and sore...
so going to see the surgeon who took out my gall bladder...
he told me before that he would just take a needle and drain it that way...
right in his office with a local, so no out patient thing at all...
seems like it won't take too long and it will be done...
Craig is going with me, since he has that day off...
and then, if I'm good, he will stop by Burger King on the way home...
I'll be good alright...
until I get my whopper...
;0)
got some rain heading this way...
got nothing today and we need it...
so if we have to stay in, there is plenty to do around here...
have a fun day...
;0)

ReplyDeleteYour garden is really fabulous! I love the chairs where your tomatoes are growing so sweet. You come up the the cutest things in your yard. I wish I had your imagination. Today I also worked on my yard only for a bit while baby napped. sending prayers your way for your sister in law and you.
hope everything goes well at the doctors.
