I have been working on this this week...
I really like it and since it's the first one...
I'm going to keep it...
I have used hints of pink in the collage with some of the vintage photos...
and then added a black ribbon with white dots...
it used to be an ice cream container...
I have thrown so many of these away in the past!...
I have also been playing around with these...
not sure how they are going to end up...
or what will go inside them...
they used to be toilet paper rolls...
and then I recreated this white 5x7 frame...
I think I like it...
and I had to redo some photo albums...
they were done for Halloween and I didn't sell all of them...
so I just pulled the spooky inserts and added these...
some of my Christmas hang tags...
packaged and ready to go in the booth...
and then I have been working on these wall hangings...
using old boxes from cereal, oatmeal, mac & cheese...
got some done this week but need to get some more ready for the booth...
Happy Pink Saturday!

Thanks, Beverly, for hosting the party!
Tete- Love your "things". About those toilet paper spools. Why not make them into "poppers"? You know they look kind of like taffy...with the twisted ends coming out from the inside of the roll...and filled with candy or even some stuffing (not the turkey kind-bwhahahaha). I think they would be cute! Hugs- Diana
ReplyDeleteOh so many lovely and creative things here! My doughter makes cards in this style.

ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday Tete Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteOh what a beautiful share today. My gosh girl have you ever been busy Beyond the Garden Gate.
Now I have got to tell you, I do not know how many of these darn ice cream boxes I have literally tossed right out in the trash, and they could have been washed and recycled. Sweetie you have so opened my eyes today. I love this share.
And the toilet paper rolls are delightful. I love the images you have shown, they are so precious. Love the little faces. I love Nana Diana's idea about the little treat poppers. You could use colored tissue and oh how pretty they would be tied with little bows. Love it.
The photo in the frame is so cute, and I love the addition of the eiffel tower. That just made the photo sweetie.
Oh thank you for sharing with me today. I just love seeing what you have been up to. A very busy gal. Oh and I love your tags as well. Have a great weekend sweetie. Many hugs and so much love, Sherry

Everything is lovely! And how creative...toilet paper rolls!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful!
Bless,

What beautiful creations. I love each one, and they are special because you made them by hand. The toilet paper rolls made me smile. My mom tells the story that when I was a baby just barely sitting up, she was cleaning the house. She handed me a toilet paper roll, and she said I looked at it as if I was thinking...what can I make out of this? I guess I had the crafting bug since I was born. I love your new background for Christmas.

Help, Tete!
ReplyDeleteI am having major problems! No matter what I do, I can't get my background to change. I had been trying to do it all along just like you had said. So tonight I thought I'd get brave and change my blog template. What a big mistake! I really like the way my blog looked before I made these changes tonight! I couldn't tell you for the life of me what template I had originally. The weird thing is, the new background that I chose from The Background Fairy kept flashing now and again (I thought I was imagining things the first time it happened!). I am beyond tired now, so I am going to bed. Maybe you can give me some pointers tomorrow? I sure would appreciate your help! Thanks alot!
