some of today...

the deck was a disaster...
and you know what is coming up...
so it was time for a clean slate...
and while the guys where lugging to stuff off...
the vintage motorcar club went by...
aren't they the cutest little things ever?..
they are all different...
most have heat and everything...
and these fun people take day trips...
and they stop and eat and then go back...
and they go right by here...
I am always fascinated by them...
would have one myself if I could...
motorcars were used in the 50s & 60s on every railroad in the US and Canada...
I'm sure you remember them if you try...
stuff got moved around and getting ready to decorate for you know what...
the benches look good and they sit nice...
and there is a lot more room to shovel you know what else out of here...
my friend, Rosie, brought this for me the last time she came...
so there it is, Doofus approved...
I have had oatmeal for breakfast...
chicken noodles, mashed potatoes and California blend veggies for lunch...
pumpkin pie and ice cream to keep my strength up this afternoon...
and I'm sitting here wondering what sounds good for supper...
I want to thank everyone who partied with me today...
and thank you so much for visiting everyone and leaving them comments...
we'll do it again next month, so be thinking of a collection...
Hugs to all- Tete

  1. Tete, I have never seen or heard of those cars before? Thought I knew alot about the RR. My grandfather was a nickle plate conductor out of Charleston.

I would love to find out more about them?

  2. I'm fascinated by those vintage cars. I've never seen one before and we live right next to the railroad. What do they do if a train comes? Love the stuff on the deck--really neat. I am wondering what is happening now??

  4. Well, count me in, Tete! I have never seen them either!! I'm assuming those are tracks that are hardly used anymore?

I see you have your deck all spruced up for you-know-what you-know-when! And I am glad to see Doofus out there approving any new deliveries! Hope your Sunday was wonderful! Hugs- Diana

  5. Miss Tete, I was raised living by a rail-road, right in front of my house early 70's and I have never seen anything like that go by my house. My mom and dad still live there. It was an interesting story and they are very cute. I would like to have one too. Can you just see you and I in one now???? puttin down the tracks. (lol) They put me in the mind of something you would see on Mr. Rogers, I still watch him if I see him on the t.v. (giggle) I can't wait to see how you decorate for christmas. If you decorte for Halloween like you did , then your christmas will be soooooo wonderful. Hope you have a great day!!!!! and always thanks for stopping by my blog.

  8. Oh Tete I forgot all about your party! I had my grandsons and daughter here all weekend so I was MIA once again. My daughter is pregnant with her 3rd and due a month from yesterday so it's going to get busier around here again! She will need lots of help. My blogging has been cut back quite a bit these days.
I will try for next month, though for sure!
