spring is the time for new babies...
and I can't wait until my trees and bushes are full of little ones...
and babies trying their wings...
may we not rush through the days and take time to enjoy each day we are given...
slow down and listen to all the life around us...
I have so missed the singing birds and the summer breezes...
leaves waving overhead...
and this spring will be sweeter than last...
because the winter was so long...
I started ordering my bedding plants today...
begonias and wave petunias...
blue salvia...
snap dragons...
my favorites...
along with dahlias...
won't it be fun?
playing in dirt...
pulling weeds...
watering again?
I am so ready to GO GREEN!

ReplyDeleteI would be happy with a little pot of pansies right now, but I can't find them in the stores yet. Your dahlias sound wonderful. I haven't planted them for a few years, but might have to try them again. Do they get bushy for you? Mine just sort of stayed the same size as when I planted them. Then the initial flowers dropped off and they were done for.

I am at my Cousins today, she picked me up to take me to lunch, now we are going to go in her Hot Tub, which is outside, so much fun to be in the cold elements, yet Toasty & Warm....
