rummage sale find....

remember these?
a wonderful lady here in town had a rummage sale...
and she posted things a couple days before on facebook...
and I left her a message right away...
"How Much?"
$25 for 95 of them...
"I want them!"
so this morning, me and my guys loaded into the little truck...
and headed her way...
we went late so we wouldn't bother her other customers...
and picked them up...
Craig came up with the pattern...
Craig handed them out of the back of the truck and DH laid them down...
they are now covering our old cracked concrete...
I happy danced on it first thing...
and you know how I like the old, loved a long time look...
the ones at the stores look too new...
my guys are awesome!
looking for baby tomatoes...
not yet...
day lilies opening and filling the yard with splashes of color...
and I have all the same kind...
except for 2 that came from a friend...
they weren't open this morning...
the cone flowers are bursting with color, too...
and looky here at DH's coleus bloom...
he happy danced, too...

mower guy came and did his thing awhile ago...
started heating up out there in the sun...
we were in the shade on ours hind ends weeding when he came...
so we hurried up and picked it all up and got out of his way...

no big plans for the rest of the weekend...
just the grocery store...
doing it local this week...
don't need much...

Have a great weekend!

  5. Tete-That looks absolutely AWESOME! I love that it looks "established" and not brand new. I would have paid to see you do that Happy Dance...sure hope you were dressed?!? And...that the Rain Gods didn't mistake the dance and send rain your way...hmmmm...maybe that's why it is raining here today! xo Diana
