raindrops keep falling on my head...

that's our new theme song here...
we got .2 of rain yesterday afternoon...

the tomatoes are happy...

got 2 of these on an online rummage sale...

and this little music box...
and it plays...
raindrops keep falling on my head...

just enough to last an hour...

not sure if the grass will come out of it or not...

we didn't have to water last night...

water drops on every little petal...

it did do some good, but we are still praying for more...

thanking God for every drop that he sent our way...

even had a few small water puddles...

storm clouds that dumped on us a bit...

it sure was nice sitting on the deck watching it come down...
the guys were asleep and the animals all headed inside after the thunder started...
thunder...
what a wonderful sound...
and with the tin roof...
you can hear every little drop that falls...
it was a great day...
now a few more days of upper 90s before the next chance of rain!

  1. We finally got a little rain yesterday. Not much, but it was nice to see the drops hitting the water in the canal. I know my flowers were happy to get a fresh drink.
    Your pictures are refreshing, Tete.
    Blove.

  2. Hi Tete, I enjoyed seeing your photos. The roses do look refreshed! A little rain helps and indeed we are grateful while praying for more for our thirsty land.

  5. You are so blessed to have received that rain, Tete. We got about 1/10th of an inch. Not enough to do any good. But you are right..it sounded wonderful on our roof and to watch it dampen the earth. The fragrance of the rain was wonderful. :)

I didn't realize you had a tin roof. I am so jealous- I LOVE tin roofs. xo Diana

  8. Oh I could fall asleep with the sound of rain on a tin roof. I may tear our dinky front porch off, and build a deck like yours
