so much for a peaceful day...

but before I get into all of that...
lets see what's going on outside...
those are tomatoes...
beef masters...

and so are these...
roma 2s...

yesterday's pickings...
finally starting to turn for us...

and in the lots across from us...
this was blooming...

autumn clematis...

and its the sweetest smelling thing ever...

and it grows over everything there and right up the trees...

back in our yard, the mums are still trying to open...

and it all looks so nice...

my lunch yesterday...
left overs from Sunday...
I cannot eat lettuce anymore, so this is my version...

and this morning when I let Myra out...
I found the babies in a pile...

napping away...
dreaming...
those little butts and feet were twitching so much...

isn't that just precious?

future 20 pounders...
I know there are only four there...
we lost one last evening...
no rhyme or reason...
just that God wanted it back...
did CPR on it twice and the heart stopped again...
so let it go...

I need prayers today...
we are facing yet another conflict with Christmas Is A Child...
(My son, Craig, is head of this now and I have been with from the ground floor.  It is a toy donation and distribution program that we work on for area children so that no child wakes to nothing under the tree on Christmas morning.)
there is a conflict with the building...
double booking...
what's done is done...
but, I am not sure if its the devil trying to knock us down...
or God trying to move us on...
to something better...
I have been on the phone all day and Craig is at work and doesn't have a clue...
trying to resolve things and have options for him when he gets home...
pray for us that the answer comes soon and that His will will be done...

I am in a full fibro flair with this today...
praying for peace within...
I know he has this...
but confrontation with people this morning is not something that I can do anymore...
the least bit of stress leads to problems for me...
its in His hands...
these are His children...
they are all our children...
and they matter...

UPDATE:
GOD IS GOOD...
WE HAVE OUR ANSWER!

Hi Tete, I am so sorry it's been a difficult day. I'm praying for you. Bless you and Craig for doing Christmas is a Child - so important! It's Kingdom Work!
On a positive note, I love your blog background and your header mosaic. Just beautiful, like you. :-)
We have a sweet autumn clematis that is also trying to take over the world. I won't allow that. It gets to bloom this year, and then it's outta here. I don't tolerate aggressive/invasive plants in my gardens. Glad you have nice tomatoes. We do too. I'm giving scads away and have frozen some for making chili this winter.
Blessings, Beth

What a wonderful post for the first part. The plants and clematis are wonderful and those babies are sooo flipping cute. I want that grey one!;>) I am so sorry that you are having issues with the place where Christmas Is A Child was to have been held. Got an email from you that looks like it has been rectified now That is a good thing. Get that fibro under control before it gets too bad. xo Diana

Your blog is beautiful, just found it today. God always points me in a direction and if I let go, and follow His lead, I end up in a happy place. Today it was your blog! Please keep sharing! Thank you to "thenanadiana" blog for pointing me this way!

Glad the issue is resolved, and you can relax a bit.
Wow, those are huge babies, no wonder mom had a problem spitting them out.
Tell her not to do that, again.

If that is something you do every year, same time, why would the building let someone else in if they knew that. So sorry, you do so much good you sweet thing.
