today's piddle fartin' around...

I had this old cork board for years now...

and it sat not being used for a long, long time...

then, a few years ago I covered it with ceiling tile wall paper and lace...

lightly tea stained it...

and used it...

but the frame was nasty...

I didn't like it and didn't know what I wanted to do about it...

so today...

it came off the wall...

I googled french book page image...

printed off 2 pages of it and cut it into strips...

then I found some new inspiration...

to pin to it...

and it started coming together...

Valentine's and Easter...

spring and fun...

tassels...

and here is the finished version...

I replaced the flowers with another hanging thing I had just finished...

my tags, my photos...

all mine...

except the open mitten photo, which I want so bad...

and the heart of roses, which I want to do...

ENT doctor cleared me for sugery...

have an appointment with a dermatologist on April 8th...

for the "rash" on my ears...

finally, I might get something done about that...

waiting for the surgeon to call...

for another date...

if he cancels again...

I am finding another surgeon...

at a different hospital...
