afternoon birds and shadows...

good morning...
had some visitors yesterday afternoon...

3 crows dropped by briefly...

they are a noisy bird...

and then the snow birds came with a new one...

and they fight over those feeding holes...

such a frenzy going on out there...

and the doves with the new one...

its very tiny, as small as the snowbirds...

maybe a little smaller...
and I have no idea what it is...
UPDATE:   its a dark eyed junco- another little sparrow

a new on for here...

and the shadows came as the sun started down...

we had a new bag of bird feed to open...

so I transferred it to a big plastic jug as DH went to fill up the feeders...

we wore our hoodies...

it wasn't as warm as it had been...

a new male cardinal...

he is very small, too...

either born very late last year or through the winter...
we had some 60s-70s in December...
either way, lucky to have made it through the nasty winter...

got up at 2:30 this morning...
I did not feel right...
so I tested my blood...
been checking it ever since...
I am running between 276 and 318...
I cannot do dairy, lactose thing...
but it also jacks up my blood sugar...
normally carry low blood sugar...
I have been having some major tummy troubles taking all this cold medicine...
so I got some yogurt to get things normal again...
and I have been doing 2 a day...
and lots of juice...
and peanut butter for some reason...
if the Type 2 was back, what I ate before bed last night would have killed me...
so I am not worried about that...
just will take today to get it in a normal range...
prayers are welcome that it does it before noon...
;)

Don't understand these particular BS issues... But I certainly hope it will clear up soon.

A friend who has to take insulin, says that his BS gets messed up, when he is sick..... Maybe, it's something like that.....
