the days passed by so fast...
and we are sure getting slower at getting things done...
there's no more of getting everything done in one day anymore...
;0)
;0)
they are starting to feel it, too...
when they over do it...
I just wish we had more time to do it all...
we did get a bit more rain yesterday morning...
so no watering the garden last night...
I got zero deck time in...
but we did have a couple of very nice drives...
I am feeling better...
I did find coconut oil and I am using it now...
its supposed to cure all kinds of things...
so hoping this helps...
school starts here on the 18th, so there's not much summer left...
I am so glad I don't have to do that back to school shopping...
and then, I do miss it...
;0)
have a wonderful Monday...
;0)
We do slow down. :-) It's part of life. When we slow down, we need to acknowledge it. And deal with it.
ReplyDeleteStart to take stock, ahead of time, of how much we will be able to do. Like.... is it wise to plant as many things, as we used to? Now that it is getting harder to keep up with them?
Why plant too many things, and then feel depressed that we are not able to take care of them properly?
Get the idea?
Deal with today's reality. Plan ahead. Learn to only "put on our plate" what we can comfortably doooooooo. In all aspects of life.
Are you sick of Wisdom 101, this morning??? -giggggles-
But you know it is so! You know it!
-ducking, running and hiding-
You-know-who leaves these kinds of comments. ,-)))))
I had a 4 day weekend too, and did not come close to accomplishing what I wanted to. I am like you, just can not get it done as fast anymore. I think part of it is I just do not want to work that hard anymore. Starting to see why people "down size" and de clutter! To much stuff getting in the way of sitting on the front porch or a relaxing dinner. Still have today to finish, work 3 in a row and head to Charleston Friday. Have been wanting a drive myself, think my cousin and I will drive down to Robinson, Oblong, Palestine and Vincennes. Hit some antique stores, they still have a Dog n Suds, Heath Candy bar museum/ice cream shop and of course mullens drsg!
ReplyDeleteHi Tete! We haven't talked in awhile. I've been on vacation in the PA mountains and we just got back. We haven't had much rain up here in Plainfield either. Thank God I paid the young man next door to water while we were gone or else I would've come back to a bunch of dead plants. I have a week to relax and get a few more projects done and then it's back to work for me. Ugh.......
ReplyDeleteTete, you honestly take the most beautiful photos. So serene! Hope that coconut oil works too!
Hugs,
Kelly
