funeral flowers...

these were so pretty...and so thoughtful of all who sent them...
isn't it funny how time just keeps going...whether or not you're ready to keep up the pace...Harold had always been apart of our lives...and he still is...just in a different way...and I don't worry about him anymore...cause I know he's safe...and Steve is still hurting...but there's too much to do yet...and he just wants the apartment cleaned out and it over with now...he can't move on until that's done...Easter will be hard because that will be our first official holiday dinner without him...this year will be filled with a lot of "first times"...

Just hanging out...waiting on the guys to come home...

Some of my favorite things:

I started collecting little things...fun things...things I used to have long ago...
and I stuck them in jars...
one item at a time...until I had this...
this was my grandmother's...it used to sit on a shelf in her kitchen...I wasn't allowed to touch it...
which was a good thing...because I didn't break it...and I have it now...
Rebecca found me a cheese dome...its the IN thing right now...they used to be everywhere...no one wanted them and now you can't find them...or cake stands with the lids...and they are going for big bucks on ebay...and I want more!
no dust...the cats can't get to it...and it looks fun!...and January is finally gone...woo hoo...and soon the chocolate will come...double woo hoo...

It's been an interesting day...

the snow began to disappear...
the swing is waiting on us...

there will be a lot to do in about 8 weeks...

these are waiting, too...
but there is green inside...
the wreath is from the funeral...I am going to save it for fall...and the books are just some of Craig's for this semester...
there is some green here, too, now...
then the guys went over to Terri's to help move a whole entertainment/bookcase built-in that Andy and Terri have been working on...they also helped move the living room furniture back in...and Terri sent these books home for me...I should have gone over, too,...but Steve had to lance a boil for me this morning...and its in a really bad place...and you don't need to know anymore...so I declined...
you know...this is just going to give me more ideas...and I did attempt to make a little snowman...the snow wouldn't pack...oh well,...hopefully I won't get the chance to do it again until next year...
Have a peaceful afternoon...

Watch it play forward and then watch it as it is read backward- its amazing how the same lines mean two different things depending on which lines you read first...
