just a night in my kitchen...

I have my Qtips handy at all times...

and my glasses, cotton balls, test kit...

of course the cup is full of everything I might need...

forceps, glue sticks, pens, pencils, nickles, box cutter...

you just never know...

I am loving the mantle again...

this poor old pressed glass candy dish is a little lop sided...

made that way...

so you have to set it just right or it looks bad...

vintage rooster missing a foot...

I tell everyone he lost it in the war...

you know, the one against Colonel Sanders...

bwahahaha!

and then across the room, on the desk top...

someone has been busy opening windows...

she deleted a couple things yesterday off of DH's desktop and he had to go into the trash bin for them...

guess he's going to have to restore some more...

so that's it in sepia tones...

taking photos at night with our lighting turns the photos yellow...

so, I got rid of the color and they look fine...

so night photos will be like this from now on...

so, off to cause trouble while I still can...

a couple of ideas and some fun...

here are some free organizing ideas...

toilet paper rolls to keep your lace neat...

along with icing containers for the larger lace...

all in a shoe box...

easy to find what you are looking for and it doesn't get messed up...

been saving the rolls for awhile now to get this done this morning...

here is my new storage box that I got last weekend at the Dollar General...

it has a velcro lid so it stays shut...

and the colors are fun...

and it looks nice on the mantle...

change that up today, too...

changed the top of the desk...

found my eggs I made last year while doing it...

stashed in a box...

been sorting and cleaning...

laundry...

same old, same old...

and its 51 here, so been for a walk and going again...

have a great evening...

worked on another box last night...

really love this one...

and I need to show you what I picked up last weekend while we were out and about...

I have a new metal birdie...

dollar general find...

they have them in blue and red, so hurry before they are gone...

I also picked up one of these...

and the pages lay flat for writing in it easier...

for just a couple of dollars, but its kind of ugly...

probably why so many of them are sitting there...

but not for long...

the inside still have fruits...

but that's ok...

and I got these from Lynn and the Vintage Nest...

she did a giveaway and I won...

strawberry and cream candy canes...

they look good on my V day tree...

they taste pretty good, too...

having a nasty day...

gall bladder flaired last night...

so doing that and the ears at the same time...

its not fun, but I will make it...

piddle fartin' in progress...

I have had these little wooden boxes for a couple of years at least...

ordered them from where I get my paint and brushes from...

and I finally figured out what to do with them...

so I go into the big computer for my stash of background paper...

and printed off wallet sized images...

cut them apart and laid them out so I could see it all...

then I started in on the first box...

and then I printed off 3x5 images and did the bigger box...

and there are 2 of them...

I have 4 more to play with, too...

there are several more steps to these...

and I figure this will be a good thing to play with when I am bored...

like when the guys are watching stupid stuff on tv or I can't sleep at night...

got stuff laying around and you're not sure what to do with it...

take it out, and stare at it for awhile...

it will come to you...

trying to use up what I already have here...

before I haul any more into the house...

not sure if I will sell these, give them away or keep them...

but sooner or later, they will be finished...

her brother's funeral was this morning with a dinner after...

praying for a safe journey back home for her and her hubby...
