still working on things here...

tweaking is one of my favorite past times...

now a word from the gang...

all of us bunnies just wanted to say hi...

and to tell you to have the most awesome Tuesday you can have...

because you only get one of them a week!

and that somebunny loves you very much...

even enough to buy you chocolate this year!

so you better be good...

or you could get rotten eggs in your basket this year...

weather here- still winter...

weather tomorrow- probably still winter...

but...

its spring in here!

we were so blessed!

most of what they were calling for went south of us and missed us!

after 12 hours of sleet, we started getting the dreaded snow...

which could have been up to 14 inches...

or so they said...

Mr Wiggles loves to watch it snow...

but this morning, this is all we ended up with!

you can still see the grass!

thank you, Lord!

now, to ward of snow, you must get out the eggs and bunnies...

and pray, too...

that's really important...

and wear your flip flops...

just think what would have happened if I would have shaved my legs!!!!

we could be in the 70s by now...

ok, that's an inside joke, kind of...

you know my mom didn't believe in anything like this...

but...

every year, when we lived on the farm...

spring didn't happen until I wore my shorts on a weekend...

while cleaning house...

and every year, as soon as I did that, winter would break and spring would happen...

I told mom it was true and she was such a none believer, or so I thought...

well, one winter was extra long and I had yet to don the shorts...

so one weekend, mom and I were spring cleaning, and she goes...

'don't you think its time to wear your shorts?'

what's that you say, mom?

you believe in my shorts?

'I'm not saying that at all, but just maybe it would help push things along...'

so, I ran and dug out my shorts and sure enough...

that was the end of winter...

coincidence?

or course it was...

but don't tell mom!

why? might you ask...

thinking spring here and planning ahead...

to cover my tomato and pepper plants...

frost won't get them and the bunnies won't eat them either...

thunder in February brings frost in May...

or so they say...

covering all my bases here...

and don't throw the top away!

a free funnel with every purchase...

great for pouring a bag of bird seed into a upcycled plastic jug...

great for putting oil and transmission fluid in a vehicle...

gas in the mower...

and you can throw it away without guilt, cuz you got more!

had a super day yesterday, but going so much slower today...

lost my energy...

so going to simple things today...

like making up poop boxes for the babies...

we are doing steaks, baked potatoes and salad for dinner...

got a chicken in the oven for chicken and noodles for supper...

going to mash some potatoes to go with it, too...

we got a good two hours of sleet very early this morning...

but the 10-15 inches of snow is just a tiny trace...

and now they have down sized it for the 5th time this morning to 1-3...

its tracking south...

so sorry for all of you that are going to get in instead of us now...

but, YEAH! for me!

ok, time to get the steaks on...

it has begun...

there will some of you who think I am crazy...

and say I missed a holiday..

but no, I just extend this one...

I know Paddy's day is next...

but it doesn't involve chocolate...

so I started playing around yesterday afternoon...

my reward for purging more than a full tote from a couple of my kitchen cabinets...

and it felt so good...

its 2am here right now and the freezing rain has begun...

winter storm warning now until Monday...

so here it is as of now...

I will probably tweak more and move things around a bit...

and there is green in there...

green grass, green easter eggs, green leaves in the print...

which finally got hung today...

and there is always an escapee...

who was so eggscited about being out to help...

that she fell asleep with the crab...

they play so hard right up until they crash...

not going anywhere today...

chicken and noodles are on the menu...

made veggie soup yesterday....

DH did his therapy well today and without my help...

;)

but he sure didn't feel good and his cold was getting the better of him...

I had an awesome day...

neither one of us has an infection, snot is clear now...

so we did not do the clinic...

I think a few more days and the cold will have run its course...

have a good day playing inside today...

and get out your flip flops and pretend its spring!

my mornings...

did you ever wonder what goes on here behind closed doors?

well, its so exciting, and I am out of stuff to post, so you are about to find out...

its all about the furr balls...

cleaning the kennel...

see, they are messy...

so you have to dump them out and clean the whole inside...

clean the bowls and refill them...

put in a new towel and inspect the toys for poop...

if poop is found, clean that off...

I was lucky today...

;)

how long does it stay nice?

for a bit...

and the bit is over... 

and I wanted to show this...

this is a vision that came to me one night, after Craig had brought 2 of these home for his room...

his are orange and black...

so I asked him if they had other colors, and he said there was a purple one...

I told him to grab it the next night, I had this idea...

its a large, plastic 3 drawer thing...

and I have used it for a week now and its wonderful!

take notes...

its the poop box...

the bottom drawer is full of litter...

take out the middle one so they can get in there...

the top has my supplies...

scoop, bags, wipes...

its even on rollers...

and the biggest cats have no problems...

and I can clean it myself several times a day...

and no odor...

the other drawer is your spare clean one...

and...

it was on clearance...

$7...

yeah, you can't beat that...

for a trial run...

I will be looking to find a more stable unit if I ever get out of here!

got lots to do!
