a few more snow photos...

 it won't be long until this is gone...

another memory to fade away...

just think where we will all be at in another month...

it won't be shoveling snow or wearing long johns...

there's flowers under all that white...

and before we know it...

they will be blooming so pretty...

the snow is full of nitrogen...

just what they need to kick start the spring...

got freezing rain coming in later tonight...

in the wee hours after midnight...

so I am going to post this tonight in case we lose power or something crazy like that...

going to head for bed and dream about planting green beans and begonias...

what a weekend!

DH walking Charlie with Mr Wiggles tagging along...

we got at least another 8 inches piled on top of what was left of the last snow...

Craig had to call in...

the city had us plowed at 7am...

but the state came behind them and plowed our road shut...

never did see the city plow here again...

I did not work on the island at all today...

there's always next weekend...

I did go out with DH and Charlie and walk in the snow as it was coming down...

and we all took turns taking naps...

and then I hid in the playroom for awhile last night...

and played around...

a card I have been working on...

for someone special...

and then I went to bed...

only to wake in agony!

I had a bum big toe...

and I hit it in my sleep...

so...

while waiting for the throbbing to go away...

I went to play again...

and 2 more homeless teddies will find a new home...

I am going to try to sell them online...

and if that doesn't work...

I will think of something else...

;)

I hope you had a good weekend and that you were able to stay in and stay warm if you were in the path of this storm...

our week might get a little wild after this stuff melts and refreezes again...

but I will keep you posted on the fun...

March is coming in like a lion here...

this is what I do when I am stuck inside...

the painting of the island continues...

and we all love it...

these match my knobs on the kitchen cabinets...

I have had many pieces in the past and sold them...

more projects to work on and I love this tulip vase...

its flat and fun...

DH had the idea of going for a ride late yesterday afternoon...

before the snow was supposed to start...

we should have had a good two hours of no snow driving...

but the snow came early...

hopefully, this is the last snowfall...

by this time next week, this should all be gone...

and replaced by a sloppy mess...

we will be cold for a few days...

rain on Tuesday...

ice rink on Wed and Thur...

and then the 40s will take over...

and spring will be just around the corner...

which is wonderful news...

there is a bonus coming, too...

changing the clocks again!

longer evening light...

only one more week until this nasty cold weather goes away...

I think I can do this!

and just lately, I started selling extra stuff online...

and I have sold a few things already...

and the rest will be boxed and donated somewhere...

another prayer request...

this is my cousin, Deb...

she was just here on a visit...

lives in Phoenix...

and when she got home, she found that her tumor has grown...

they found a tumor in her liver before...

but it was small...

now, since its bigger, she qualifies to be on the donor list...

she needs a complete transplant, not just a partial from a live donor...

please pray for this to happen for her...

we love her very much...
