Easter egg hunt...

our Easter egg hunt is on Saturday before Easter at noon every year...

and we have it on the square and in adjacent park areas for the older kids...

these are for the little ones...

its the best fun...

so many little ones...

and they all have fun...

they begin the morning with breakfast with the Easter bunny...

at the grade school lunchroom/gym...

and its all over by 12:30 so the Easter bunny can take a nap before delivering all those baskets by morning...

after the hunt, there is chalk drawing on the sidewalks around the square...

and there are winners for that, too...

kids come in all sizes in our town...

and our local queen is on hand to oversee the eggstravaganza...

and in some of the eggs...

there is a special announcement...

it says you are a grand prize winner!

and Eli won a big basket this year!

he did very well this year...

he found so many eggs!

after they find all the eggs, they sit down and unload them...

because you have to give the eggs back so they can use them again next year...

each egg has a piece of candy or an announcement in it...

and that's what we did yesterday...

I took 104 photos of the event...

and then came home and went to bed...

migraine day yesterday...

but its gone now and hoping to head to town with hubby this morning...

to shop and get my hair cut...

been up before the sun...

started with the potatoes...

moved onto the carrots...

and its been one thing after another...

taking 5 here before the laptop is put up for awhile...

we are doing our Easter dinner today at 11...

its the only time we could get us all together...

got so much more to do!

the antibiotics are working...

and tearing up my stomach really well...

yesterday was just crazy here...

it was time for our contractor to come back and finish the lights...

all five of them...

he ended up being here half the morning and half the afternoon...

with lunch in between...

not enough time for a nap...

then, with him here, the phone company showed up to bury our phone line underground...

2 really nice boys...

who were very sweet about not taking out my peonies...

I stepped out on the deck and explained that I was sick and asked them if they needed me for anything...

they were trying to determine where to come in at and didn't want to hurt my flowers...

the one guy asked about the iris...

they had to dig some of them up and asked what they were and if he could have some...

got that boy a bucket, I did...

by the time everyone left here around 3, I was exhausted...

waited for DH to get home to show him all the fun that had happened and do supper...

then I was going to bed...

took that stupid pill and ate...

hopped in the shower, grabbed a nightgown and down I went...

but not for long...

horizontal was not a good place to be...

so got up and dried my hair...

and went to try it again...

hit the floor running and it was nasty...

climbed back in bed and was comfortable and in a deep sleep...

when the oldest kid shows up...

will not take no for an answer...

until I was fully awake...

because he is buying a van today...

he's super excited and all that...

but if I could have swung the broom, I would have...

so, with all of that, today will be different...

I'm spending it in bed...

if I have anything to say about it at all...

oh, another Monday

got the flare down to a dull roar...

got a 3:00 doctor's appointment...

DH is coming home early to take me...

he took me for a ride on Saturday and other than that...

I was in bed...

but, now you know what happens when the farmers plant bird seed...

geese everywhere...

tried to get into the clinic yesterday before noon...

got there at 9 the first time and they were already piled up...

so we went and grabbed some breakfast...

went back, and there was more people there than the first time...

so we headed for Walmart and got that out of the way...

then we went back...

and there was even more people waiting to get in...

there was no way they would get to us before lunch...

so I told Steve I wasn't THAT bad, just go home...

WELL...

now the blood sugar was high again this morning...

so I called...

the fibro flare is from too much coughing, sneezing and blowing my nose...

ticking off the muscles in my neck and back...

causing spasms...

took a muscle relaxer on Saturday and that helped a bunch...

but all I do is sleep on them...

so after going on the ride a little loopy, I came home and went to bed...

but there is good news this week...

spring has come back...

65 today...

its been cold, damp and windy for too long...

hoping to get the windows open sometime and blow the germs out of here...
