well, they got a little over half of the roof on...

the rest will be finished on Monday...

got rain today...

but clear tomorrow...

normal stuff, like laundry and vacuuming happening today...

wanting to play outside tomorrow then and get some of this yuck cleaned up...

serenity...

the good, the bad and the ugly...

had a wonderful sky last night...

and its a wonderful day out today...

everyone seems to be wanting the 'sweet spot' now...

we have some volunteer snap dragons...

and the tall kind...

and some much neglected flower beds...

and this one isn't all that bad...

you should see the others...

squash and carrots coming up...

DH's prized willow tree...

and the peonies are opening...

there's just so much we can do...

and gardening hasn't been one of them...

but soon, very soon...

the roofer guys are starting in the morning...

once that is done, then we can start the clean up outside and get things pretty again...

before the heat of the summer days gets here...

new babies...

had 4 more born on Monday morning...

and then we got 2 more rescues in yesterday around noon...

mama ran off when they attempted to rescue them all and these babies still were in their sacks...

they ran them to the vet and then called me...

I told them to get them here fast for mama's first milk...

put them in with the others and mama took them in...

they are both orange tabbies...

photos of them later...

leaving them alone for now...

no word from the roofer, so not coming today...

need to call him tonight and see what's going on for sure...

our Memorial Day Weekend...

we took time to honor those who gave it all...

and to pray for their families left behind...

and I wish I could say I spent a lot of time here...

but we were too busy for that...

we finished up what was torn apart...

and cleaned and did laundry...

with these running underfoot...

but we did get a short drive in this evening...

other than that, its been spent at home...

checking off one project after another...

inside mainly...

but we are ready...

DH did such an awesome job on everything...

and I just tried to keep up...

we got new babies this morning, too...

4 more...

so, we haven't been slackin'...

and DH has 5 days off in a row...

so we made good use of him while we had him...

tomorrow...

is Craig's colonoscopy...

please pray things are ok...

he's been on a clear liquid diet today and taking things to flush is all out...

then I imagine the roof will be going on Wednesday or Thursday...

the noise itself will be crazy and I have no where to go to get away from it...

oh, well...

at least it won't take too long....

and it will be done...

UPDATE: 5am

Craig started on his last part of the cleanse this morning and started vomiting...

really bad...

he threw up all the medicine...

with mucus...

has a fever...

and his stool wasn't clear yet...

we called and cancelled and he ate a bit of scrambled eggs and is back to sleep...
