Dad now has a staff infection and his urine is at least 70% blood.
They have changed the antibiotics.
His blood sugar is still over 400.
He pulled his IV out last night, again.
The kidneys are working better than they were.
The only things that count in life are the imprints of love we leave behind us after we are gone.

stormy night...sunny day...

my friend is burying her grandmother today...
remember her and her family in your thoughts and prayers as they say goodbye to her earthly shell...
while her grandma is trying out her wings...
what a beautiful day to soar...

yesterday...

this is how this will go together later...
the beginning of a small bird's nest on the ground...
just waiting for new blooms...
there's going to be a lot to clean up...
the sun was so nice and our high was 73...
and this is where I sat...in the sunshine...

crocus...
daffodils...
and tulips...the naked ladies were up, too...
there were no beds at the St Louis hospital so dad didn't get transferred...Paula had a rough day with him yesterday...
he was scheduled for tests that didn't happen...
his blood sugar rose to over 400...
he gets combative when its that high...
they are going to try it again today...
