falling leaves...

big, huge sugar maple leaves...
something from my childhood...
always beautiful...
rain or shine...
there is absolutely nothing better than...
falling leaves...

Good Golly Molly...

I just had to change my background again...
the stripes on the other one was making my vertigo go nuts...
I was quite queasy...
I hope you all didn't have any problems with it...
and if you did...
I so apologize...
whew...
that's better...

Just a corner in the living room...

the long photo is my father in laws unit in the army during WWII...
I have spent years with white walls and two years ago we went olive/ sage green...
I was starved for color...
with accents of black and white...
a hint of purple...
taken from the drapes...
and all the wood in their natural tones...
I will post more inside photos later...
want to wait when it's cold outside and nothing else to post...
DH got off at a normal time today and we went for a walk...
but I didn't take my camera...
weather report:
no rain...2 drops one time and about 12 the other...
next chance next Tuesday...
filed a missing scary pirate guy report last night with the local cop...
but it's been a good day...
filled with family...
friends...
and a peace that only God provides...
I wish this for you, too...
it's free...
all you have to do is ask...

Have you ever?...

missed something you wished you would have bought?...
I did...
I really like this...
and I missed it...
I just asked the seller if she was going to do another one...
I ordered some berry sprigs off of her...
and I got those in mail...
they are wonderful...
if she is so kind as to do another one...
I am going to paint the cheese box...
and add more sprigs...
take out the spanish moss...
and add excelsior...
and use it all year long...
if...
If McDonald's sold hot dogs,
could you,
with a straight face,
 order a Mc Wiener
& tell them to SUPER SIZE it?!...

My niece posted this on her FB...
but I had oftened wondered why they never did hotdogs...
my kids would have loved it!...
but now I know...
SOME THINGS ARE BETTER LEFT OFF THE MENU!...
