check this out...

A high school boy made this commercial for his mom. It's outstanding.
It is a political view you may not agree with, but the patriotism that I thought was lost in today's youth is seen here.
It took him one hour to create this on his computer.
Home is not where you live
 but where they understand you.

out the kitchen window...

thunder boomers are moving through...it rained pretty good and the lightening was intense...
we have another line coming in soon...
it went from 90 to 77 in half an hour...
so we are cooled off for awhile...
until tomorrow...
Steve's home and in the shower now...
more later...

so much to do and not enough time...

the weather here this year is strange for us...
too hot, too humid, too fast...
it makes for a better growing season...weeds and all...
the pesky varmints are back...Japanese beetles...they can destroy so much...
they are not native...and have no enemies here...except for moles that eat the larvae...
we welcome moles in our yards here...can't have enough of them to control these crazy things...
back of the fire pit...we have got ice cream chairs that need new seats this year...
and painted...its either raining or too humid...or when we have had dry spells...it's too darn windy...
tomatoes need to go in the ground today...
tomatoes, bean greens and weeds...
my junque box...things I find digging in the beds go in here...
the weather radio went off again...
thunderstorm watch until 7pm...
we have 5 days of rain in a row now on the forecast...
Stever's working all day today...
in the heat...
and we are used to heat...but not the constant humidity...
hate it...
you all have a good day...
we're wimping out and staying in the ac...

My son's best friend, Ben, lost his grandpa this morning...
Ben's dad, Mike, and my husband are friends...
they are also our neighbors...
please remember the family in your prayers this weekend...
