Loss leaves us empty - but learn not to close your heart and mind in grief. Allow life to replenish you. When sorrow comes it seems impossible - but new joys wait to fill the void.
 -Pam Brown

I could use your prayers today...
I lost a friend...
she did not die...
just went away...

let's stroll...

the locusts are singing...
there's a breeze and it's 80F...
no humidity yet...
and every now and then a leaf crunches under foot...
thanks for stopping by...
I so enjoyed your visit...
"Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be kind one to another, forgiving one another, even as God has forgiven you." (Ephesians 4:31-32)

planning ahead...

these are very primary sketches...
so don't be too harsh on me...
I am so happy that I paint better than I draw...
I just go for a basic outline and flow with my sketches...
all the color, details, shading comes in the painting...
it's coming along...
the plan is to start painting by the first of next week...
if you would care to join me in some fun...
here are the supplies you will need...

(I have never shared my sketches with others before...
but you have all been so encouraging in everything I have tried...
so I trust you won't laugh loud enough for me to hear...)

smell the roses before the fall breath takes them away...
