nothing but blue skies...

the sedum is blushing and will soon be full of butterflies...

and I think we need to take the limb off and burn it...

90% convinced of this...

I think it's going to get done this afternoon...

things are good here...

got to get moving and get some more done...

found a gift on the deck this morning...

so want to get photos and show you what my bestie sent me...

this is Eric...

he wears a uniform and is in Iraq right now...

for another year...

he is my cousin's son...

if you could...

put him on  your prayer lists...

in your God boxes...

and his unit...

I don't know for sure...

but from what I am reading between the lines on his posts on facebook...

they have probably been under heavy fire...

they are not allowed to tell us...

but I think he's been scared a few times in the last couple weeks...

this is his second and hopefully, final, deployment...

his mom just wants him home in one piece...

still breathing...

well, it's 2 am...

and here I sit...

you know I'll be sleeping late this morning...

windows are closed and the furnace switched over...

I am not going to wake up a pop sickle in the morning...

I also have the hair dryer plugged in right next to my side of the bed to warm the sheets...

and my toes...

and the heating pad, just in case...

last week- sweating like a pig...

and this week- goosebumps...

it's wrecking havoc with my hot flashes...

had so many last week...

and not yesterday morning...

when I needed it...

this is really weird having all this space...

any tips on making the switch easier...

there is a button to push if you wish to go back to the old version...

but, if we give this a try for like a week to see if we like it...

it just might make it faster with a lot less hassle...

Well, I just switched to the newest version of blogger...

I am not sure how I am going to like it...

I will have to see how it does with photos...

but I do like the layout and being able to see the blogs I follow better...

looks like it might be easier to use once I get used to where things are...

now, off to see if I can get into any trouble with this...
