Carol sent this in an email to me:




It's winter in ILLINOIS

And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At twenty-five below.

Oh, how I love ILLINOIS
When the snow's up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.

Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around
I could never leave ILLINOIS
'Cause I'm frozen to the ground!
This is so true- and I suppose we wouldn't have it any other way...Rebecca and were talking about how we couldn't live in the south or futher north...or even out west and how thankful we were to not be on the east coast right now...and right where we are is the best darn farm ground ever...if I did move I would have to take my dirt with me...
