Happy White Wednesday !

here it is...
another week...
and more whites...
found this today and put it out...
a tea cup bird feeder...
it stands on a copper stake...
I bought this off of a friend...
I couldn't have drilled a hole in such a pretty cup...
but since it was already done...
I grabbed it!
and after supper...
DH and I sat outside and watched the clouds go by...
we are under a tornado watch until 9pm tonight...
we also have a flash flood warning...
some of the clouds were moving north...
and some were moving west...
but they were beautiful...
and I have some red tulips with white stripes this year...
and our baby, Bebe...
he's white, mostly...
9 years old now and he is starting to darken...
join Faded Charm for more whites...
have a blessed week in your own little world...

we're a tad soggy here...

the skies are gray...
the south part of the yard has had too much to drink...
as Craig and I drove around town this morning...
we found more water...
Reel Street floods a lot...
notice the bricks...
one of our town parks...
Craig's favorite thing...
he grew up going down that slide...
the dam at the lake...
we have white water...
and on the other side of the bridge...
there is foam...
and on the other side of town...
just past the golf course...
this little creek is out of it banks...
and creeping beyond where it's supposed to be...
and it's pretty safe to say that there will be no baseball games for a day or two...
and a little corner lake in the field at the south end of our road...

been cleaning and putting up the Easter stuff...
dragging other stuff out to take it's place...
cleaned up the kitchen from last night...
we had some thunderstorms move through and lasted all evening...
stayed off of the computer and didn't play in the sinks...
it's almost time for lunch...
I'm thinking tomato soup...
then 2 loads of laundry to fold and put away...
need to do another walk and pt...
and if there's time...
a nap!
Have a super day!

The rest of our Newman road trip...

after we took photos of the tornado damage yesterday...
we headed for the square...
this building has not been in use for years....
I think it would make a cool antique shop...
or even a cooler home...
and on around the square...
the old dime store that I used to shop in has been closed a good 10 years or better...
there is now a fence around the outside...
DH said the building's roof may fall...
the old Presbyterian Church of the towns early years is no longer in use and sits empty...
where DH works...
this is the bean elevator...
we didn't go past the corn elevator...
not on his day off!
LOL
cars waiting to be loaded at the bean side...
and back to the square again...
next time we go up, we will pick a sunny day...
and I will show you some of the old victorian homes...
which are wonderful...
who have owners who have restored them or in the process of restoring them to their original beauty...

we are soggy here this morning with water standing in the side yard...
pics later after it lightens up a bit...
too dark yet for photos...
partly cloudy today with more rain tonight and tomorrow...
have a great day!
