Pink Saturday...new arrivals...

some of the best packages come wrapped like this...
from a box in the mail yesterday...
from Donna at My Shabby Chateau's Esty Store...
oh, yeah,  you need to shop there!
a wonderful card, a beautiful Paris tag and a vintage rose picture...
little extras she stuck in the box...
and the folding storage bins came from the Dollar Tree...
my bestie, Rebecca, snagged them for me yesterday...
I also got some in green and blue...
very pretty pastel colors for spring...
and the details on the frame are breath taking...
so much detail in one small space...
in the frame...
and in the image of vintage roses, just gorgeous...

Happy Pink Saturday and thank you so much, Donna!
I so LOVE it all!

Postcard Friendship Friday...

I like this image because of the colors and the lamb...
this one is just so cute...
vintage postcards, no matter the season or reason...
just make me smile...
Happy PFF!

It's spring, it's spring!

tulip...
lilies...
crocus...
daffodils...
and some more...
see...
it pays to put out the silk flowers...
blooming is contagious...
should be fun cleaning up the yard...
but with the firepit...
we can at least warm up while we are outside...
we are expecting 2-3 inches of rain today and tomorrow...
they have already issued flash flood watches...
it will be too mushy to work in the yard this weekend...
but as soon as it starts drying up, we need to get the leaves off...

woke up good!
after the walk about outside...
I got a little sore...
doing brunch now...
and then I may lay back down...
don't want to go back to where I was yesterday...

all the animals were as fruity as can be last night...
I was laid on, walked on and even had the air knocked out of me once...
someone tried to jump on the bed and hit me square in the tummy with both paws...
I finally gave up and got up and blogged in the middle of the night...
there were 8 of us in bed at one time...
I waited until they all calmed down and then snuck back to bed...
alone...
well, DH was there...
but he doesn't walk on me when I'm sleepin'...
and he better never...

have a great day!

Whew- what a day...

and I am so glad it's almost over...
helped with supper tonight...
we had breakfast for a change...
scrambled eggs, hash browns, gravy, biscuits and sausage...
I have a thing for black pepper in my eggs, gravy and potatoes...
not real smart...
it also makes me sneeze...
did that about 3 times...
almost peed my pants...

Diana, it's not a bowl cut...
maybe a dome...
but not quite a bowl...
Doug just cut it straight across the back so it's shoulder length now...
long enough I can still get it up in a pony tail...
my hair is very thick and the weight pulls my neck out of place if it gets too long...
so over 2 inches came off today and it feels great!
it's bouncy again, though, I haven't tried it out except for when I sneezed...

the pain is down to a dull roar...
that I can handle...
not sure if I will be able to get out of bed in the morning...
but Craig is here if I need a push...

I love my heating pad...
bought it last fall from Walmart...
it has heat and massage both...
my first one like it and if you don't have one...
get one...
it shuts itself off in an  hour, so I can go to sleep with it on without waking up hours later burnt somewhere...
yeah, I have done that before...
I know your not supposed to...
what can I say?

I took such a long shower today...
what a great invention...
so many things to be thankful for that we take for granted...

the vertabra that was out today is the one that I ruptured about 12 years ago...
I don't usually have this much pain with it...
I have it back in for now...
hope it stays there or goes out the other way next time...
Craig took very good care of me today...
even though he snickered when I flinched in pain...
little bugger...

a little under the weather today...

got up this morning with a pinched nerve under my shoulder blade...
heating pad, hot shower and massage day...
Doug came up and he cut my hair for me...
Craig and I sat out on the benches on the porch for a little while...
we started new PT exercises yesterday, working on the upper body...
and I think they got the best of me...
went through them slowly today trying to get it all worked out...
it is better than it was this morning...
but it hurts to type or sit here...
so I will catch up with you later...
keep Marydon's husband, Harold, in your prayers today...
I haven't heard how he did this morning...
check Blushing Rose blog for more details...

I may be back on a little tonight...
or it may be tomorrow...
