we worked here over the weekend...

$5 bedspread- online rummage sale...

$1 pillow cases to match- Dollar Tree...

and its been kid tested, mother approved...

bought months apart...

new lights for the island...

lilacs are blooming and you can smell them on the deck...

love lilacs...

all that work so they can do this...

hmmmm... 

he's always the first to test it out...

I'm not doing this right...

have good weeks!

wonderful day out and we spent it inside...

rearranging the kitchen...

all to move the kitchen table in front of the windows...

so we can look at to this while we eat...

but today we head out...

the deck, the scarecrows and some other things on the list...

and both guys are home, too...

we have 3 beautiful male orioles and 2 females that I have seen so far...

and the boys fight all the time!

we have 3 orioles fighting out here now over the food...

but they are so fast and the leaves are coming on...

so hard to get a good pick of them...

they like hiding...

so many birds and so little time!

going through the feed and suet like crazy!

our spring day...

we were in the 80s here yesterday...

and the wind was so strong...

Craig had a day off...

we had open windows...

and shorts and flip flops...

shampooed the living room carpet...

did a little of this and a little of that...

and I am up way too early this morning...

and its going to be an inside kind of day...

thunderstorms are on their way...

I can see lightning around us...

I did this first thing yesterday morning...

I got this picture years ago...

and I bought these stick word things at Walmart for 97 cents...

sometime last year...

and decided to stick in on the glass of this picture...

and I love it!

I didn't open it up and put it inside on the print...

I just washed the glass really good and stuck it on the outside...

and it has this really good 2 D effect and the letters actually have shadows on the print...

so, if you're bored and want to play with something that is no mess and no clean up, really...

give it a go....
