the growth season...

we are all born with a seed planted deep in our soul...
the seed that needs a gardeners touch to grow...
and depending on where we are in our lives and how we are living...
depends on whether that seed grows in a stable, rich soil or in shifting sand...
where the roots can never get a firm grip to hold onto to...
we need watered and fed...
and those gardeners are sent into our lives...
to fulfill the orders of the master gardener...
and even though He does not stop the storms of life to come our way...
He does send in wind blocks until the storm passes...
He also sends the ones in to prune our vines...
to tell us the truth and get us back on track...
to stop us from growing too fast...
so that later our fruit will be fuller and ripe...
so that we are able to feed others...
to protect others in our shade...
and only the strongest have a vine that reaches under the wall...
beyond what is seen from this side...
so that when the end of the growth season comes...
it ever blooms on the other side...
because the roots took hold and held fast...

we are here to help each other grow...
when we think of others more than ourselves...
we grow stronger...
spreading love and words of encouragement are fertilizer...
and prayers are asking the Master Gardener for help and instructions...
when you have days that the Son is shining down...
turn your faces toward the warmth and store it up...
for cloudy days do come...
and it's after the storms pass that we grow the most...
that we bloom the best...
and it's then that the fruit is the sweetest...

soak up the rains from the storm you are in...
clear skies will come again...

thank you to all of you who tend my garden...
and help me grow...
