clearing the debis of the winter ice storms...
DH thought it would take 4-5 hours to get the yard cleaned up...
now he thinks 4-5 days...
I think more than that...
Robbie helped...
we didn't get a chance to burn last years remains...
it was either too windy or raining...
so that had to go first...
and it is a dreary looking day...
but you can see the trees are budding out now...
the planting will begin soon enough...
and this will turn green...
looking for little bits of green...
but not yet...
so much to do and clean...
we will be mowing in 2 weeks...
can you imagine?
we have 60 plus days coming the end of this week...
maybe we will have bloomers soon, too...
a pot of potato soup for my supper...
the guys are having pork chops...
it's been a restful, peaceful day...
a little more cleaning on the kitchen...
the other half of the living room drapes up...
need to do a lot of sorting and some more crafting this week...
the kitchen is brighter even if the sun isn't out...
so it's a happy room and cozy place to be...
just moving from one little job to the next...
there's no hurry...
not yet...
Hugs- Tete

Hey Tete... what do you grow in the fields? I've been burning all the kindling in my fireplace slow and steady all week... My husbands crews came today and cleaned up the yard, thank goodness.. cut down all the grasses so the new plumes can come up again. I loved coming home from work and having it all cleaned up..
You have more green than we do, Tete! And we still have some patches of snow here and there. I am so ready for spring! Hope you are doing ok, hugs to you!!
Oh- I can almost smell the Spring wood smoke from here. We will have a big clean up this Spring too..and I want to move the front garden patch all around. xxoo Diana
Spring is definitely on its way! Isn't it great! Sounds like a relaxing Sunday afternoon for you. Take care, Beth
