just another morning doing what I love to do...
play in the dirt...
this morning was out in front along the sidewalk...
the iris looked scorched on the ends and so much dead inside...
so we started trimming it up and pulling out the dead...
called the mower guy and he will be here this weekend...
saved a small fortune on mowing this summer...
but I would rather have the green...
there are still brown patched here and there, but they are getting smaller every day...
there's the finished product...
minus sweeping up...
peonies have come out of their funk...
they were looking pretty sad there for awhile...
now if God keeps sending us bits of showers here and there to keep it this way...
words for thought...
powerful, huh????
made ya think, didn't it?
made me take a second look...
have a great day!
off to get into more trouble...

Tete- Great pictures but I have to tell you that is one of the most powerful little kickers I have ever seen. God can heal a broken heart but HE has to have all the pieces. Wow! How often do we really try to hold onto some of the pain and not really let it all go? Amazing post, Tete. It got to me- xo Diana
Great quote, Tete. As Diana said, it sure can be hard to give it all over to Him. At least it is for me. Thanks for always giving us something to think about! Now if I could just get you to come over and help me in my garden:) Have a great night!
hugs
Looks like you had a peacefully productive day, Tete! Hasn't this been a wonderful reprieve from the heat? Love it! Thanks for the thought-provoking message, too. It's one thing I'm really good at...not giving it ALL to Him or taking it back when I don't see results quick enough. :)

Wonderful blurb, and I find that sometimes I keep holding on to some of those pieces.
Was it you that I promised some 4 O'Clock seed (Marvel of Peru) to awhile ago? I've been saving them, and wanted to make sure I got them to the people who wanted them, some are white, some are a lighter pink, and some dark pink.
