had a couple of misty, cloudy days here in the middle of the week...
roses and bats...
what a combination...
out little birds are coming back around...
most will head south, but we have a few that winter here...
we are just starting to get color in the maples...
we have one red maple and all the others are yellow...
I need to find an orange one...
Craig getting home after work...
and then there's the photo shoot of the babies that happened yesterday afternoon...
this is one of Mira's...
little Lester...
Lester the molester...
he attacks everything and every body...
Buckus...
another of Mira's...
posted all their photos on facebook to find them homes...
its time to go...
Sarah...
one of the sick ones we got in a couple months ago...
she's a mama's girl...
up for adoption through ECHA...
she will be leaving soon...
Tinker is another ECHA baby...
she was so sick when she came in...
she was the runt of the litters...
Hermie is another of Mira's...
Chloe was the sickest when she arrived...
now the smallest of them all but oh, so sweet...
Buckus (orange) is 4 weeks younger than Chloe and he is bigger...
but they are making up for lost time now...
just took a few more weeks to put in them what their mamas didn't have...
thanks to the people at ECHA who stepped in and seized them from the owners...
mamas are doing very well, too...
they have been spayed and all shots...
waiting for their furever homes...
you know we like to keep the babies on the mamas if at all possible...
their milk is simply better than the can stuff...
but when they are half starved themselves...
you have to pull them...
they were all critical when they came in...
want to help?
buy a bag of cat food or litter this weekend while you are out shopping...
and drop it off at your humane center...
old blankets and towels are always needed...
don't throw them away!
and spay and neuter your pets...
so you can put people like me out of business!
;)

Tete, That is a lot of cats and tending to them. Thank goodness for people like you. I think all animal places and helpers always need food items. Our area shelters ask for food to help out. Hope your weekend is a good one. xoxo,Susie
