Oh I prepared many of those and our children thrived. We prepared the recipe that pediatrician prescribed, poured it into glass baby bottles, and did hot water bath to kill bacteria. A batch lasted 2 days in frig. Oh, we also gave baby poly-Visol liquid vitamins daily. The Karo syrup was because milk is constipating for babies. Nowadays no one trusts do-it yourself anything, and think only factory-made is acceptable.
