yep, I did another one...

just about ready to go to bed and thought...

I haven't made a collage today...

so I made one to make Rebecca smile...

she had a bad day yesterday...

things didn't sell like they should have...

maybe it was bad timing...

people already spent their weekly mad money...

the economy is not the greatest and getting worse...

no matter what the experts say...

so she was down when she called...

it takes a lot of work to do a show...

even if its in your own barn...

and she does it basically on her own...

and she holds down a full time job to boot...

physically...

mentally...

it takes its toll...

but you can't always measure success in dollars and cents...

you have to measure what happened in that time frame...

did you make a new friend?

see some old ones?

make someone smile?

what did you accomplish?

the barns a little cleaner...

the opposums are gone...

literally...

and you never set up a show without learning something...

its either something you should've done...

or something not to do again...

weigh it for what its worth...

I know cash is good...

but sometimes you walk away with something money can't buy...

so, when you really take the time to think about it...

what did you walk away with?

Terri's yard...

still cloudy but so humid...

the potting bench is overloaded with flowers already...so much to do...
peonies with columbine...

clematis...

weeds in bloom...

we grow 'em tall here...

Georgie already needs a bath...

new columbine plants here...we transplanted these here last spring...

hoping the humming birds will come...

one of my knock out roses...half of it is a dark pink and the other half is red...

Rebecca is open...

Terri called...they are working in the yard...

she said she had a chair for me for the gardens...

Craig will buzz over there soon to get it...

Steve is in Charleston...

bringing home lunch...

most of Mr Wiggle...he is hiding...he thinks...

he is so soft...

when he doesn't have the evergreens needles stuck in his fur...
it was play time in between the rains this weekend...

its already started raining again but should be done about noon tomorrow...

it just makes it all a little more greener...

and taller...

if it keeps this up...we won't have to bend over to pull weeds next weekend...

the storms passed through in the wee hours of the morning...

but we have more coming in tonight...the columbine are just wonderful this year...
and the peonies will open this next week sometime...this is the first year for them to bloom...
we transplanted them 2 years ago...

the old fashioned iris are beginning to open...

the tiger lilies are getting taller...transplanted them here last year...

this is my deep, deep purple iris...its coming...

Rebecca went to the city wide rummage sale this morning and found so much!

she is so happy...and the barn is opening tomorrow afternoon...

so much to do between the rains...

can't wait to see if things go well for her...

she has worked so hard on this...

well, there is a lot more to do this morning...

Steve took off early for the weekly shopping...not a big list this week...but we are out of garbage bags and that's not good...

and my fish sticks are running dangerously low...

can't have that...

he thought he might run to the cemetery and check his dad's grave,too...

it will be hard...

its his first trip there after the funeral...

its still too soon...

his mom and dad are both there...

and her parents...

so...this isn't getting things done...
