2011 is here...

for some, this is the year of coming into the world...

for some, it will be the year they leave...

and the rest, it will just be a year in between...

it can be a year of change...

transformation...

you choose the path...

that will lead to your destination...

one person...

one person can make a DIFFERENCE...

one person can save a LIFE...

one person can heal a HEART...

one person can embrace a SOUL...

BE DIFFERENT...

be brave in God...

be the first one to grab the hand of another...

be the first to offer help...

be the first to cry with someone with a broken heart...

be the first to whisper a prayer...

your life is HIS gift...

make the most of it....

rise above all obstacles...

be the first to grab onto HIS hand...

be the first to offer HOPE and LOVE...

one step, one day, one door at a time...

be BRAVE in knowing who has your back...

who loves you more than you will ever know...

because we all belong to each other...

we are all FAMILY...

HIS FAMILY...

the only way to prosper...

is to first give it away...

and to get this show on the road...

Counting down the last of 2010...

we're just hanging out...

we watched part of the Twilight Zone marathon...

one of my favorite old shows...

staying off the roads...

we were never big on going out on this night...

and we don't drink...

most of the time we are sleeping by midnight...

we are kind of boring...

how are you spending tonight?

years ago we used to go to a friend's house and play cards until midnight...

then she gave us grapes in one hand and pennies in the other...

we went out and lined the street with our backs to it...

at midnight, we ate the grapes and threw the pennies over our shoulder into the street...

it was supposed to bring prosperity in the new year...

whether it worked or not, it was fun...

HAPPY NEW YEAR !

Looking back...June 2010...

I miss all the green...

57 and thunderstorms today, but nothing bad...

praying for those in the paths of the tornadoes that went through today...

hope you are safe...
