67 with cloudy skies, the rain is coming...

Mr Wiggles and I started out here...
and then we started our walk just before lunch time...
left over crocus bulbs that weren't planted last fall...
if they don't come up, then I'll toss them...
the bulbs were soft...
walnuts in a pot for the squirrels, but they didn't come and get them this year...
lilac...
the tulip greens are really growing!
day lilies...
they are just coming up everywhere...
I know we moved them around a lot...
but I think we might have had a little help...
I made it to here and had to stop and rest a bit in the glider...
my boy...
woke up with a nasty sinus headache this morning...
lasted until middle afternoon...
but he is good now...
ok- I posted about this being gone soon and a couple of you told me to plant flowers in it...
I don't like it...
I don't think flowers would make it pretty...
I can't see past yucky...
and it's so wobbly...
the one leg is rusted off and shorter than the rest...
some said put herbs in it...
I have a place for them to go...
besides, if it stays there is always the chance that DH will never let it go...
so on with the walk...
these have to be a lily...
my pink tiger lilies?
but I thought we moved all of them over a year ago...
I don't have bleeding hearts...
I only have 4 peonies that my neigbbor gave me a couple years ago that are out front along the side walk,,,
this is where I want my herbs to go...
I am going to 1/2 fill with pea gravel and then a good potting soil...
stick a petunia and a begonia in here and there...
it's going to be pretty...
we have some colder weather moving back in for several days, so I'm not cleaning this out for awhile...
the dianthus made it through the winter in here and hopefully, I will just have to add a few things this spring and this is good to go...
my burgundy mum....
another herb area...
more blooms every day...
but the bees weren't here today...
I need to get some grass seed sewn in here again...
this is one of the new crocus...
just the tiniest all yellow bloom...
purple has got to be one of the happiest colors of spring...
our cold frames...
as soon as the plants go on sale...
I am able to get what I want early...
and we put them in here...
they are safe from frost and nippy days...
the sun warms these up and they grow while we wait for a better time to plant...
then I made it to here and had to rest a bit again...
Robbie rested with me...
I'm thinking of painting this white and the bike, too...
just looking around and seeing what needs work and where things are going to go...
love these rusty cans...
and after I rested, I went from here to back to the porch and inside...
now that' not a major thing...
I know...
but I did it without the chair...
I couldn't do that last year...

we have 4 steps...
they are giving me trouble and sore muscles...
I did them 9 times yesterday...
and only once today...
I hurt...
but it's a good hurt...
and it will get better...
when I get used to it...
and I have little endurance...
and I have been going till I am exhausted...
to the point I can't move...
I just have to go to bed and sleep when that happens..
a 2 hour nap works wonders...
and then I go again...
but the longer I go...
the stronger I get...
the less pain there will be...
and we have a cold front coming in...
and I always tighten up with that...

there is improvement...
and all this PT and moaning and groaning are paying off...
if you have fibro,  you have to keep moving...
and I know some days all you can do is wiggle your toes...
but do it...
don't ever give up...
because the good days do happen...

Hey...

just reporting in...
been another nice day, but not much sunshine at all...
69...
over did it...
need to lay down for awhile...
but I have pics for a later post...
so check back in then...
Craig got up with a head ache...
still has it...
so we are both down for a bit...
LOL

74 isn't hard to take at all !!! ♥

blue skies and puffy clouds make a day happy...
look at all of them...
and they just keep coming...
I know for sure that Sherry sent them to me from Phoenix...
and a few looked like they had drunk up all the puddles...
but they just passed on by...
and they took the rain out of today and tonight...
clear tomorrow, too...
and we won't even talk about later in the week...
Boofy is chasing Robbie's leash...
he can't get very far and she is pouncing on him...
she's our best baby sitter...
Doofus and Mr Wiggles play it safe on the table and Bebe is looking to a good place to potty...
Daphne took my seat...
so I went for a walk...
and we ended up here...
so much to clean up yet...
do you see that stinkin' old grill?
ugh!
it is going...
shhhhhh....
it's a secret...
I'm buying DH a new one...
a nice one...
he doesn't like gas grills...
he likes charcoal...
but they make nice ones...
but he's cheap...
I'm not...
more to rake...
and I sat in the sun and watch Craig do it...
I was very good and didn't pick up the rake one time...
I got a start on my tan today...
isn't that just the prettiest sky ever?
while we were out here...
we heard a hawk several times...
but I never did see him...
gardening 101...
the kind of hoe you use is important...
and this is the very best kind to have...
if you have never tried one of these...
go for it...
you will never go back to the other kind...
remember the photos earlier today?
and what was buzzing around those crocus?
yep...
bees...
stupid kitty almost caught her one, too...
I had a black and white tuxedo when I was kid who caught a bumble bee on his first spring day...
I ended up watching a Perry Como special in the kitchen holding an ice cube on his lip all evening...
thought I was going to be doing that again tonight...
but she missed...
these new cheaper than cheap new rakes are the best we have had in a long time...
it is looking more like a flower bed now...
an oops...
now aren't you glad you stayed for the whole show?
I love sunlight through the petals of a flower...
we will get the leaves out of here later...
we did not want to disturb the bees...
it's been a long winter for them and then need the new food...
and the flowers need them to walk around in them, too...
in a month, this will be so full...
I had Craig just put all of these leaves on the garden spot where we plant the corn and green beans to hopefully keep the weeds down until we turn this area over...
I can't believe how many cart fulls come out of the beds every year...
there is still more to do and bigger limbs to haul to the back...
but I think we have the important beds uncovered now so things can come up...
I didn't want Craig doing too much...
so that's where we stopped...
see...
better...
but there's always more...

Craig went to hardware store and got my bolts...
I fixed the wheel chair in the living room floor and then we went for a walk this afternoon...
talked to some neighbors...
back home...

and announcing that it's officially spring...
I plucked this afternoon...
chin hairs and all...
tried the nads on the upper lip...
it got about 2/3 of it...
shaved the rest...
so now I am ready to meet and greet again...

I don't bother in the winter...
and the boob cancer doctors won't let me shave my armpits...
so there's no point in only being half italian until I have to be...

if this weather keeps up...
I may even shave my legs...
now combine that with yesterday's image and you have a winner...

I sure hope all of you are having a pretty day too!
We so deserve it!

it's spring...

the sky this morning is wonderful...
and it warmed up through the night...
low was 64...
it's 66...
just warm enough to wake the hives...
and a few more little flower faces...
purples and yellows and greens...
bunny?
maybe a late night snacker...
little bees...
and I have no clue what this is...
just none...
will have to wait and see what happens...
see the sun rays coming down?
these would be cool clouds to fly through...
my dad used to take me cloud flying when I was little...
winter is officially over now...
high today of 71 and thunderstorms...
we have 3 good days and then back in the 40s for a spell...

Have a fun day!
