we moved the tree...

into the kitchen yesterday while DH made a run to Walmart...

you know how  you start to straighten up one place...

the cotton wood is snowing...

it was blowing across the street into these...

usually it blows across our yard, but the wind was out of the east last night...

and this is DH's new grill...

it went bye bye with the trash man 2 weeks ago...

Craig and I were impressed and told him it would be a blog moment for sure...

so you can guess what he  we will be doing today...

along with angel eggs- Craig renamed them...

and a sugar free chocolate cream pie...

we have a  couple things to plant...

and I would like to work on the end of the sidewalk where they cut and dug out that bush last week...

its been too wet to play there for awhile...

so pray for us and the grill...

DH is not handy...

at all...

and this will be interesting to say the least...

the manual says 1 hour assembly...

not here...

could end up being a 2 day job...

Good Friday...

Happy Good Friday...

as you can see, the frost that happened last night only touched the things out in the open...

all the flowers were safe...

but our day here has been cold and windy...

so not much time was spent outside...

mower guy did a good job yesterday afternoon...

Bebe kept wanting his picture taken...

insisted on it...

I think he's totally spoiled...

tonight on our walk after supper, 3 of these were blooming...

its still going to be awhile on these...

everything is getting so big and the beds are filling in...

the sun felt really good out there...

notice the ear muffs and gloves...

DH's coat was in the van...

Craig used it for a pillow the last time we went out...

DH was not happy with a wrinkled coat...

I told him he would have them stretched out of there in no time...

Craig soaking up some rays...

a dancing doggie...

notice all the grass he rolled in and how it sticks to him...

its a full time job keeping a white poodle clean...

and so went our day...

the death of the Savior was not the end...

but a new beginning for all of us...

the pain he went through so we would not be lost...

but found...

and saved by blood...

his blood...

And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying,

 Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? 

which is, being interpreted, 

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

I went back out yesterday afternoon for more photos after the sun came out...

so no freeze...

everything should be ok...

been up most of the night...

that he loves us all, even if we don't love each other...

that with his blood, we are saved...

that all we need to do is repent and the slate is wiped clean...

and FOLLOW...

I was hoping this would open up today...

it was blushing yesterday afternoon...

all they all needed was a little rain to go with those warmer temps we had...

but, like every cloud has a silver lining...

there is also a dark underside...

we have  a frost warning out tonight...

everything is growing, including the weeds...

and those silly pods are happening here...

the weeds are even pretty this morning...

this is going to be blooming by Easter Sunday...
