we have thunderstorms right now, so working off of hubby's laptop(unplugged of course)...

the rain is coming down outside...

got up to a very foggy morning, but it finally lifted...

 we really need the rain...

its been a rather dry spring until now...

so have a good day...

with good thoughts...

its hard to believe...

that April is over...

what a year so far...

and they are calling for 80s now later this week...

I am so afraid its going to sizzle this summer...

but until it happens...

planning...

this is one bed we worked on last week and moved several things in here...

the bench used to sit there...

but now there are day lilies in the back, cone flower- the last one, in the middle, and the new smaller day lilies place in there to see what it will look like...

this bed already looks like a summer bed...

they all do...

the amount of growth that has happened is awesome...

asian lilies will be blooming in May...

another dianthus, related to carnations...

Bebe who for some reason opted to continue his nap and not come out with us...

then he watched us from the window...

and bitter sweet is the last bloom of the clematis...

what joy they bring when they are here...

especially after being inside all winter...

but what is left is still pretty...

can't wait to get the rest of the stuff planted...

we did get a few things painted today...

wait until you see the thermometer...

I love it...

some more pots, too...

then we got the rest of the pots washed and even got one planted that we had painted before...

a lot of my time is going into PT and moving...

just moving...

stretching...

bending...

because I need to get to where I can start toning...

things are flapping every which way...

and I am a tank top kind of girl...

so if I don't want to wear long sleeves all summer...

its either work it back to something that looks normal...

or invest in duct tape...

;)

I have miles to go, but I have come so far in the last 2 years...

over 60 pounds lost now...

I do feel better when I don't hurt so bad...

LOL

the guys are walking me through it each step of the way...

and I know I wouldn't be here now without them...

lower body PT at least 3xs a day...

upper body is every other day right now, but will soon turn into an every day thing...

the clothes I bought a few months ago are baggy already...

and I just had to order new bras...

lost 5 inches around the middle since Feb...

that's why I am not on here as much as I used to be...

when I feel like moving, I'm moving...

there will be time to sit later...

shopping in Paris...

its a rainy old day...

kind of a lazy day...

but we headed out for  Paris...

I only got a couple of photos, because we were in a hurry...

it was raining and we were getting wet...

at 49 degrees, its not too fun out there...

besides, I had my hands full...

I jumped back in the van while DH took the little wagon inside to pay for all of it...

got a variety of things...

some day lilies and such...

2 new knock out roses...

DH had grabbed this one yesterday while shopping in town...

and I grabbed this one today...

got different textures and colors this time out...

can't wait to see how they do in the beds...

got a deep red dianthus...

we set them out in the beds and I will keep looking at them to see if that's where they will stay...

we have rain coming most of the week, so will be too wet and chilly to play in the dirt until next weekend anyway...

grabbed a whopper with onion rings on the way out of town and we were back home by noon...

PT on the upper body has me so sore and with the cooler, damp weather...

I am moving very slow, but still moving...

nothing to do around here that doesn't take a lot of umph...

so I think I will sneak off and get a nap in when the guys are watching the baseball game...

I will be stopping by to check on everyone after my nap...

then it started raining...

so that was the end of potting...

but I did get a few done...

we did that while DH headed for town...

he brought back another knock out rose...

petunias, marigolds and snap dragons...

its a start...

have to go back to the nose doctor on Thursday so we will check things out again then at Walmart and Rural King in Paris...

tonight is prom night here...

much ado going on about town...

then I got a call from an old friend...

she had just heard that a very dear and sweet lady friend of ours passed away in her sleep last night...

a quiet lady, well kept, full of grace...

the world is a better place because she was here...

and I am so glad that God gave me the chance to meet her...

and to have had the honor of working beside her on a few projects...

remember Mary's friends and family this week as they say goodbye to a beautiful lady...

have a great weekend...

we are getting rain, so not much getting done outside...

but it just might be a good weekend to just relax, watch some movies and just hang out...
