just a quiet day...

this is just stepping out in the corn field behind us and looking down the fence row...

looks like country...

cats wrestling and roses...

asian lilies...

the veggie garden...

stepping stones...

free from the dump...

just had to dig them out...

rose of sharon,  sweet peas and grapevine...

the elevator and corn field...

onion chives and the back of our lots...

hydrangea...

and one happy dog...

a couple of small pillows I made this afternoon...

dried rose petals...

and drying peonies...

its been an off again, on again day...

cloudy and sunshine...

sprinkles and a breeze...

humid but cool...

not bad for a Monday...

we start heating up tomorrow...

a gardener's work is never done...

thought we were going to have an easy day...

just weed the back of the island and finish the tree trimming...

the guys push me under the trees in my wheel chair and if the limbs hit me in the head...

the get trimmed...

it was a very peaceful morning...

and we worked slow and steady...

was done in a couple of hours...

until we came in and there was a message on the machine...

a whole trailer load of rocks were coming our way...

so we ate and when we checked the driveway...

the trailer was already there...

so out we go...

with a bucket...

in half an hour...

we had all the rocks we wanted...

so I made a couple of phone calls and posted them on FB...

hanging out now to see if we have any takers...

there is another load of them, too...

it clouded up sometime between coming in for lunch and going out to do the rocks...

like I said- this is just half of them...

can you see the baby bird?

we lined what we could with them...

and grabbed some bigger ones to use later...

now its time for a nap...

they are very dirty, but the hose showed there is color there...

DH picked these out for accent rocks in the beds for later...

hope you are having a good weekend...

we have a thunderstorm watch until 9pm...

so the rain is on its way...

this could be the end of me...

oh, what a day...

worked outside and on the computers...

got a new photo editor...

been looking at many this afternoon...

one that will run without freezing up...

and then went in and disabled chrome's shockwave...

you can't have 2 shockwaves running at the same time and the chrome browser comes with its own...

which you do not need...

aggravating...

but we did so limb cutting and hauling off...

oh, how things look when you are in the middle of something...

and when we hauled the limbs to the dump place...

we dug in the rubble and found some bricks...

just enough of these yellow ones to do some borders here...

got the yucca transplanted today...

and then I have planted onions, sweet peas and one hill of squash in here...

and holly hocks by the foot bridge...

it just takes time puttering around...

and now I am pupt...

we are doing leftover soup for supper...

so that will be easy...

I am ready for a shower and a nap...

but I think its too late for the nap...

;)

just hoping this is the last of the computer problems...

but probably not...

something new always comes along!

our evening at the park...

we had a good time and a good turn out for DH's company picnic...

we got there early so we could get me in with the chair...

but when we pulled the chair out of the back, the right front wheel was about to fall off...

so I waddled to the picnic area and stayed there...

we were there by 3:30 this afternoon and stayed until 7...

and here is what I got to play with...

this is the first time he saw me...

I don't think he was impressed...

and that is a cow ball that moos when you shake it...

of course DH likes babies, too...

we had rain all day until right before we left for there...

60 degrees...

I wore a sweat shirt and had a throw over my legs...

there was another baby there, too...

and this little guy kept coming out of the woods heading for the trash can...

but got scared half way there and headed back to hide awhile...

I am sure he is feasting now...

my new buddy, Eli...

10 1/2 months old...

on our way home...

everything is so green and filled in now...

on a rock pile at the township building just out of the park...

we had a good time and I can't wait to go back out there again in the chair and get down to the water...

think we will do a trail there, too...

DH told me on the way out there, that he would like to push me in a 5K someday...

can you imagine that?

the laptop is back up and running and I am so glad to be sitting here with it again...

oh, the things you get used to...

not sure what tomorrow is going to bring...

depends on the weather and such...

and how sore I am...

but I hope we do something fun for this one...

been working so hard for over a month now on the yard...
