before I head for bed...

I was testing out the lighting during the evening...

Mr Cardinal and his bike...

he was picking up chicks...

I don't think she knows she's supposed to ride on the handle bars...

Craig said the guy interviewing him had a really bad headache...

so it lasted only 10 minutes...

he will know Monday if he got the job...

but his friend just started at the Walmart we shop at most...

and said they are hiring...

so he filled out an ap for that...

 

they called his friend the next day for an interview and hired him right then...

so hopefully, Craig may have 2 jobs to pick from...

or take both...

the other one, the guy said was 4 and 6 hour shifts...

Craig told him he needed at least 6 hour shifts because of the driving distance...

it would cost more in gas for less...

so we will just have to sit and wait...

something is coming for him...

in time...

we missed all the storms...

the whole thing went north...

now we need to water in the morning...

;)

the weather outside is humid and hot...

its bad enough the cats are just hanging out...

and moving slow when they do move...

there's not one drop of energy here...

it was 80 when I got up this morning...

panting already...

if you think this is bad...just wait a month...

;)

the heat index is 100...

kind of hard to take when we have been wearing sweat shirts half the time...

but its still a good day...

and compared to last year...

a cool day...

we do have a chance of some very nasty storms later on...

they even said the word tornado...

praying we all stay safe from these storms...

and there is some news today...

Craig just left for a job interview...

please pray...

and after I posted some pics online this morning...

the mommy of the baby I was holding last Friday at the cookout asked me to take photos of him...

so I have a photo shoot with the little man on Monday evening...

this might turn into something that I can do for some extra money...

you just never know how things will turn out...

well, off to take a nap while everything is quiet around here...

isn't it just amazing how a simple little thing like waking up to sunshine can put a spring in your step?

well, after so long of being gray and gloomy...

it finally showed up this morning...

we are doing a grand cook off day here...

chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole with a twist...

2 cans of green beans and a can of carrots...

I'll let you know how that works...

made a pizza for lunch...

going to make some more cookie dough...

one of our wild bunnies...

cleaned on the deck this morning...

took a short walk...

and deadheaded the peonies...

not a whole lot out there to do...

Bebe and Craig got up and went back to bed on the deck while I puttered...

they slept another hour there...

Pooder...

he's really very nosy and not afraid of anything...

not even the lawn mower or fire...

this is typical for him...

and I keep thinking he is deaf or hard of hearing...

been watching him and can't decide...

Bebe woke up before Craig did...

only because Pooder was walking on his head...

he checks everything out so closely and many times a day...

we got thunderstorms coming in later on...

could use some more rain...

didn't get nothing out of the last bunch...

what a mess, but bet I am there shortly...

peonies are not liking it dry and hot...

I have permission to dig some more of these and put them in other places in the yard...

I love this color...

saving them...

I need to do this more...

so much more...

I try, and then I mess up...

and have to go back and fix it...

repent and pray...

I need to sort through some of my clothes, too...

I still need a variety of summer/ winter things...

the petals will dry here...

the faith of a child...
