Mr Peebody crossed over...

he put up a good fight...

he had a tumor in his tummy...

its been there for about a year...

and he did ok with it for so long...

this week it had grown so large, he was having trouble breathing...

and tonight, he crossed over with all of us with him in my bed...

it was peaceful...

love you, baby boy...

see you on the other side...

Prayers needed...

I got a call this afternoon from my cousin...

I had already seen it on facebook...

Kevin, top left, had asked for prayers for his wife, Courtney...

she went into cardiac arrest mid afternoon...

they got her to the ER, revived her many times, but the last time...

she had no brain activity...

in April 2014, I had asked for prayers for her...

they had found advanced cancer...

they gave her less than a month...

but she had faith and many prayed...

and she went through chemo, surgery and even rang the bell...

but, it came back and she was doing chemo again...

and doing good with it...

no side effects at all...

until this afternoon...

if you could remember her husband and kids in prayer as they go on now without her...

(yes, they are identical twins)

and the rest of the family as they try to hold these together....

its not going to be an easy road...

a single dad with small ones...

but it can be done with faith and in hope....

her battle is won...

its not so nice out now...

but the weekend was super sunny...

and the birds were very active...

just piddlin' around here this week...

day 5 of this cold and tired of blowing my nose all the time...

joy will be detaching myself from the kleenex box!

I love him...

he is a common house finch, but so pretty...

and this is beginning to happen around here...

gettin' my flop ears on!

day 4 and counting down until its gone!

the weekend was full of sunshine and I stayed in most of the time...

chilly wind went right through me...

its cooler now and cloudy, rain moving in...

will really green things up around here...

and guess who else showed up this weekend?

the robins are back!

a sure sign of spring!

I have been waiting for them, because then you know its real...

I can't wait to change the clocks next weekend, too!!!!

and then all the bunny and easter stuff all over the place...

waiting on the crocus to bloom!

pretty day, but still cold...

to me anyway...

wind went right through me...

so I didn't stay outside long...

DH worked on the yard...

picking up sticks and trash that had blown in from who knows where...

but the common grackles are back, the grass is greening and the trees are budding...

looks like spring to me...
