new bird at the feeder...

I kid you not!

probably the biggest bird we will ever have at the feeder...

I think I shall name this new species...

"Sunday Dinner"

or

"The Colonel's Rejects"

or

"Dead Chick Walking"

seriously...

our neighbor has chickens and doesn't keep them put up...

free ranging at MY bird feeder...

coyotes got her ducks already, so its only a matter of time...

I love chickens...

DH is scared to death...

(flogged as a child at his grandma's house)

so, I hope they chase him around the house at least once before the coyotes get them...

bwahahahaha!

had a rough night and this thingy has got me...

so called the doctor...

he's on vacation...

of course...

until the 23rd...

but we have a new thing with ADM and Blue Cross Blue Shield...

I used it this morning...

got antibiotics called in after talking to a doctor on the phone...

all of that for $8.80...

it could cost that in gas alone to go to the doctor...

and...

its 24/7!

they just called in the med to our pharmacy and Craig will be bringing it home with him tonight...

isn't that awesome?

I think I am going to love this new option for me...

on bad days or bad weather...

yay!

have good days!

and then it was gone...

this happened through the night...

and we woke to everything dusted white this morning...

but it started melting before the sun was even up...

and by 10 am...

it was just another memory...

I don't care how pretty it was...

I am so over this winter thingy that's going around...

will spring ever come?

She's home safe and sound!

the kids went to the Lake Park while she was here...

to see where Craig played as a child...

and she even road the merry go round he loved to play on...

wish we could have kept her here...

but her life and family are her home...

We got an extra day!

Jody's flight yesterday morning was delayed...

it ended up being an 8 hour delay...

she would have missed her connecting flight...

the only option for yesterday was to re- route her on 3 different planes and having her land after midnight at home...

not an option...

that would have been 9 hours over her original landing time...

so they rescheduled her for this morning with the same times...

but flying out of an airport closer to us...

so here we are again...

up at 1am and them leaving at 2am...

they left 2 hours ago...

so should be there anytime now to check in...

:)

we got a bit more time with her...

and we joked if this flight didn't work this morning...

we get to keep her...

pray for her today for a safe flight home...

she should be landing at home around 3 this afternoon...

have you ever met someone who just fit in the minute she walked in the door?

that in 3 weeks, we never needed a break from her and weren't counting down the days until she went back home?

that we are going to miss terribly...

she's one of those...

and she's a keeper...

Craig picked well this time...

It was a wonderful 3 weeks...

what an amazing person she is!

we had the best time with her...

and I so miss her already...

DH is driving Jody and Craig to the airport this morning to send her home!

she is so missed by her family and so needed this time of the year...

so much work waiting for her when she gets home...

and I will get back to posting on here...

its been a roller coaster these last 3 weeks with the weather...

we have had snow, flooding and tornado watches already...

all in the last week!

got another snow storm coming in this weekend...

and then...

I think spring is finally coming...

mid April shows some 60 degree weather!
