but the pink one by the shed had 2 blooms on it this morning...

I shall miss these...

Craig is off today, so we got the garden tilled and planted...

cleaned up and came in for lunch...

fed Diddy and put on the roaster and its full...

beef roast, chicken thighs, carrots, potatoes, and broccoli heads...

spices and 2 packs of gravy mix...

brown and peppered...

and does it smell good!

green beans and tomatoes are in and watered...

need pepper plants...

and I have carrot and lettuce seed to plant in the pots with the flowers...

its humid and hot today...

well, it feels hot...

this old girl is taking a nap...

got a couple of hours before the old boy gets home...

have great nights...

Saturday's car show...

I shot cars this weekend...

from afar...

but still got some good shots in...

had the old man just drive around and I shot them on the go...

they have this show in the grassy area between town and the highway...

and we got some rain the night before...

so its totally impossible to get the wheel chair in there...

so these will have to do...

good day Saturday...

blood work, shopping, car show, yard work...

bad day Sunday...

everything flared...

it is what it is...

where does the time go?

so much going on and yet its the same old thing...

its all about the birds and blooms here...

this one is here to stay, I think...

and the iris are going full bloom right now...

someone is getting a bit cocky at the feeder...

maple seed pods are everywhere!

indigo bunting...

I love these!

clematis...

been doing laundry...

dishes...

like they never go away!

bird love!

and the neighbor found him last night in his garage...

so guess who's bottle feeding?

Craig named him Diddy...

and that's the latest...

we still need rain- started watering already...

missed the bad storm that went south of us last night...

and it was nasty, so that's ok...

just a normal storm is ok with me...

every day, something gets done and I go to the next thing...

no outside work...

we are pretty much caught up until we start planting...

will get the garden area worked up this weekend...

won't plant until later...

we have plenty of time...

got a mini heat wave going on here...

could this be the signs of a long, hot and dry summer?

I sure hope not!

we need rain...

year 2 on this area...

lilacs need rain...

we are supposed to get some today...

columbine are starting to bloom...

allium, and I didn't plant it...

allergies are happening...

ferns are up...

clematis had one bloom open...

if we don't get rain, we need to start watering...

I have been going and going here...

haven't felt this good in a long time...

but I am sore and achy...

but its a good sore...
