what does "store up your treasures" mean to you?
is it tote after tote piled high in storage?
is it something that takes up more space than you actually live in?
at what point does it go from treasure to trash?
earthly treasures never last...
they are not made to last...
but we all seem to spend our lifetimes collecting our own treasure and storing it up...
how much do you have???
storing up our treasures should be something more...
something that will last forever...
somewhere that will last forever...
where it will have meaning and purpose...
we all need to stop storing up so much treasure on earth...
we need to store up treasure in Heaven...
what you have here cannot be taken there...
but what you do for the glory of God will be there...
lasting forever...
when I look at it like that, it makes purging so much easier...
and I know people who won't toss things because they put a dollar sign on it...
it costs this much, I can't just throw it away...
but if it's draining you emotionally and monetarily...
it is costing way too much to hang onto it...
let it go...
trust God to provide...
and live in peace...
