Dad update...

welp...
Paula called and he had a bad day...
BP very low...
I think he's dehydrated...
that's our conclusion anyway...
he was shaking so bad today but not a fever...
now...
they are sending him to see a shrink on Monday...
why?
because he says he is dying...
maybe they haven't read his chart...
I was thinking, how dumb...
then I grinned...
am still grinning...
dad's last testiment is going to be in writing...
his words are going to touch someone he doesn't even know...
they have been touching the ones who take care of him...
you see, my dad died many years ago when they were doing a routine heart test on him...
he ended up being allergic to the dye they use...
it's in his charts...
he was dead for 13 minutes...
he was in Christ's arms when He told him it wasn't his time and he would have to go back...
13 minutes he talked to Him and held Him...
and begged to stay...
dad saw his name in the Book of Life...
but Jesus covered the date so he wouldn't know when...
they sent preachers, priests and even rabbis in to see dad to tell them what he saw...
the only one to believe him was the rabbi...
just a crazy old man talking out of his head...
or an old time preacher getting ready to go?
that's just like my dad to shake up the non believers one last time...
that's my pop...
God has marvelous ways of taking our worst tragedies and turning them into His most glorious triumphs.
-Joseph Stowell

So, would you pay a dollar for each one of these???

of course you would...
they are almost 7x7 inches...
perfect little stepping stones for your garden...
or a cute little reminder inside...
full of whimsy, faith and hope...
with depth and little details...
hearts and roses and style...
would you believe these are being sold at the...
DOLLAR TREE???
where everything is a dollar...
so hurry...
before they are all gone...

my cold medicine was making me dizzy...
I just stopped taking it...
got a different kind...
and I'm doing much better...
have a cold or allergies going on...
I am so glad I didn't try to go to the doctor today...
it is so cold and rainy...
miserable...
tomorrow is going to be much better out...
I am slowly but surely trying to get caught up with all of you...

New Arrival...

would you pay a dollar for this?
guess where...

Update on the dizzy brunette...

still dizzy...
shaky...
calling the doctor in the morning...
and you know how I hate going to the doctor...
inner ear infection, probably...
it's about 18 miles there...
and 18 miles back home...
I do not travel well with vertigo...
I will be so sick when I get there...
I so wish we had a doctor in town like we used to...
so, if you could, keep praying for me, please...
because...
a dizzy brunette is a dangerous thing...

please remember...
Marydon and her husband, Harold...
he still has more to go through...
Simply Debbie and Debbie at the Lakehouse...
daily trials with health still...
Nezzy's had the flu bug....
Donna who has to pack and move...
and so many more who are dealing just with the curves of life...

we have rain today...
S*#@ tonight and tomorrow...

Rebecca is shopping for us now...
wait until you see what I have gotten from her this week...
may have to have Craig do the photos for me...
my eyes are so watery and blurry most of the time...
I can't tell what I'm doing...
it's mostly aggravating ...
I really don't have pain at all...
it's pressure...
and spinning...
and I steer to the left too much...
cold meds triggered the IBS...
yeah...
picture that...
can't walk a straight line and trying to get to the bathroom on time is hilarious...
pushing fluids so my BP stays up...
eating as often as possible...
just really small amounts...
but we are keeping up with the PT!
and it's doing better all the time...
upper part is coming along nicely...

welp, that's about all I can handle right now...
will let you know what the doctor says...
may have to dye my hair blonde...
and join the rest of them...
