we've got our rain...

so we played inside most of the day...
re did the mantle...

easter stuff gone...

spring stuff still out...

the new sign on the right was a gift from one of my sisters for easter...
isn't it cool?

and we have our green back...

and these, too...

almost everything did just fine with 2 nights of freezing temps...
mostly we have problems with the walnuts...
the "late" bloomers...
and now I know why they wait to come out...

lilac...

columbine...

I love the grass when its this green...

and I love reflections in mud puddles...

Mr Wiggles and Tory went for our walk with us this morning...
in between the showers...

knock out rose...

but today I will have to be happy with the blooms indoors...
no walk for awhile, still coming down...
but we might take a drive just to get out a bit...

have a great night...

rain is coming...

there was a bit of sun early this morning...
but that all changed and the rest of the day was cloud covered...

on our first walk this morning...
we ended up talking to all but 2 of our neighbors...

it took us 2 hours to go a block and back...
it was sunny when we started out...

but with the clouds moving in, it soon became chilly...
and I was a bit cold when we got back...

it was good seeing everyone and getting caught up...
we even ran into an old neighbor...

he has moved to his parents farmhouse...
and his son now lives in his...

so some things that I had planned on doing...
didn't get done...
but there's always the weekend to get to those things...
DH is working today...
so, it will feel like a Friday anyway...

Craig's friend Chris was here...
and we ate fish dinners from the cafe...
well...on my way to bed for the second time...
night?
morning?

Update on Amy!

as you will recall, Amy and her boyfriend, Eric, were survivors of a tornado that destroyed his parents' home, in which they died...

Amy is in progressive Care and doing great!  She is coping with the amputation really well. She is doing so great. The Doctors say it is nothing less than a miracle.
Eric is staying with his sister.  They buried their parents with financial support from their community and local church.
One other lady who was injured in the storm has passed to the other side.

Prayer changes things.
God answers prayers every day, and your prayers count when someone needs them so much.
Thank you for taking the time to lift up their names before the throne.
Praise God in the highest for all he does for us here below.

You all have a great day!

there's a chill in the air...

but most of the bloomers and plantings seem to be ok...

it was in the 20s last night...

the grape vine and a few ferns look nipped...

and we will be there again tonight...

see how cold this boy is???

I have done 2 walks today and heading out for the 3rd...

that will be enough for me...

Mr Wiggles likes to roll in the dirt..

and Bebe likes to roll in the grass...

and we found this in the road...
Lord, help that baby robin...
hoping his mama has a big behind to sit on him with...

got some things done around here today...
but starting to poop out...
BS was low before supper, so I got a mini hershey bar for dessert!
well, hope you have a great evening...
and stay warm!
