April showers...

in between the thunder storms, DH and I went for a drive after supper...

our gold course is under new management and its looking so good again...

dead trees are gone and they burned off the prairie grass...

so these two just wandering around...

in the middle of a corn field...

a bubbling brook...

and the moss is greening up on the trees...

wish I were a kid again...

then back through town...

a very old church that isn't used anymore...

it used to house the Christian Museum...

but that was about a decade ago...

they covered the stain glass windows to protect them...

still a pretty neat church...

downtown!

at rush hour...

just a normal, rainy day here...

made a pot of chili yesterday for supper tonight...

thinking ahead...

feeling a little better every day...

still got about a week of the antibiotics left...

the chest xrays came back ok...

so nothing to do but hurry up and wait on the meds to work...

got some things done inside yesterday...

so it wasn't all napping...

more spring...

the sun came out yesterday in the late afternoon...

and I got some shots in from the kitchen window...

while the birdies came to feed...

they finally figured out they could sit on the bicycle...

looks like they are going for a ride...

trees are really budding out now...

funny guy...

it started raining late last night...

3-4 inches by Friday...

by the time I grabbed my hoodie and got out the door, the sun was gone again...

but I did find these super tiny crocus...

and more of these opened...

the sedum is green...

tiger lilies are through...

and the daffodils are growing so fast...

can't wait for them to bloom...

got to hop in the shower and get dressed...

then onto the fun things of the day...

laundry and cooking...

cleaning and such...

sure there will be a nap in there with the rain...

he is 33 years old today...

got the mums cut back and most of the leaves out of here...

rose bushes aren't easy to clean around...

the crocus bloom...

can't wait until its warm enough to run the hose!

needs a good scrubbing and probably another coat of paint this year...

hoping its safe enough to put this away...

as soon as Craig leaves for work, I will have a day for me!

I am going back to bed, first, though...

didn't sleep good last night...

my cardinals do not fight at all...

they all live in our shrubs out front...

finally saw a female one this morning...

they were playing chase, so babies will be coming...

we went out first thing this morning and filled the feeders...

then we started finding things...

what could that be?

and my first crocus of this spring...

should be open by this afternoon...

lots and lots and lots of leaves...

thank you, Lord, for putting in my head the need to pile them on last fall...

even got some rearranging done here...

it got plenty of work done this morning...

we came in and did lunch and I am going to lie down for a bit...
