its feeling like spring...

things sure are a lot different than they were a couple of weeks ago...

for one, the snow is all gone...

we had a high of 69 today...

and I did get out for a little bit today...

there is still a mess to clean up...

the last couple of weekends, we have been busy running here and there...

Craig and I spent last week with the tummy flu...

after trying to get over the upper respiratory junk we have had forever...

it was the most miserable flus of all...

and there was no computer time or anything...

just tons of covers curled up in a ball in the middle of the bed...

we were well enough by the weekend to get to the walk in clinic...

we both got meds this time...

its just taking its time getting out of here...

itching to start playing outside, but we just don't have the energy...

so far, DH hasn't gotten any of it...

I think Craig and I are just wore down from the other stuff, that we caught this tummy bug easily...

when normally, we wouldn't...

I am still not that great yet...

we are both having energy issues...

we are eating good now and doing our meds...

plenty of fluids and all that...

its just hard to stay in bed and rest when the sun is shining and you have waited all winter to be outside again...

from one extreme to the other...

we started out our Saturday like this...

snow still left over from the mid week blizzard...

by almost noon...

we were down to this...

so we came home and did lunch...

some laundry...

and headed out again mid afternoon...

ran across Scooter in the middle of a field...

and by then, most of the snow was gone...

it was in the 50s...

and by the time Sunday morning came around...

all the rest of this was gone, too...

we had 60s...

the three of us headed to town and shopped and brought home lunch...

then took the rest of the day off, mostly...

cleaned out the fridge, washed dishes and had chicken for supper...

(picked that up in town at the deli)

so it was an easy weekend...

feeling much better now...

Craig, on the other hand is sick again...

so I am thinking his little body needs to get into the dr's office this week...

and get the meds he needs to finish this stuff off once and for all...

I just hope I don't have to do another round of it...

he took some vacation days, so has four days off in a row...

so don't have to worry about him getting through work for a few days...

I hope your weekend was good...

looks like we might get another snow mid week again...

temps are dropping and it rained pretty good last night...

just waiting for the next few weeks to pass so spring can really happen...

so much to do...

while the blizzard blew on...

I was here...

finished my garden scrapbook cover...

and I found these at the Dollar General last Sunday...

going on the next bear I do...

and I doodled...

planning, planning, planning...

this is the deck...

changing things up a bit this year...

all kinds of ideas going through my head...

and longing for the time spent out here this year...

I am so ready...

our power flickered off and on much of the day and then we lost power for awhile at 9pm...

not off too long- 35 minutes or so...

so we did fine...

DH came home at 11 since they didn't have power there...

Craig had the day off...

so we just cooked and ate and napped...

good day...

blizzard warning...

and its just getting started...

5-8 inches of this stuff and up to 50 mph winds...

I am holed up until it melts...

well, shucks...

I have not been doing very well for a long time now...

too many things came at me at once, I guess...

and one thing leads to another...

and so on...

until I got up this morning and was having trouble breathing...

I almost called the ambulance...

but I had Craig here...

so we made it through that first hour...

and I called the clinic...

talked to my doctor's nurse and made plans to get in in the afternoon late...

called the old man at work and he came home early, so we left early and got in...

the report says acute bronchitis...

but it feels like my lungs are full, too...

but I got antibiotics and an inhaler and he told me to take Robotussin DM....

and I really do feel better already...

the nice weekend proved too much for me and everything that I wanted to do didn't happen...

but DH did get me out on a short drive and I got these awesome photos...

love sheep and lambs...

that little baby there...

its tail was wagging so fast...

nothing cuter than a baby lamb...

so- I am on the mend now...

he said it could take 4 weeks...

still have time to get better before spring comes for real...

pray it happens...

we could be getting another snow storm here...

starting Tuesday night and finishing up on Wednesday...

4-8 inches...

are they kidding?
