the spring just did not cooperate with us this year...

the end of summer is here...

loved these all season, but they are ready to go...

cleaning out pots of faded glory this week...

rose of Sharon still has some blooms left in her...

sedum is blushing...

pulling weeds and plants...

cutting things back to be ready for the leaves to fall and cover the beds...

I did a whole cart full of pulling yesterday morning...

DH headed back to work this morning...

was nice having him around 4 days...

just wish we could have spent more time outside...

the humidity is just awful and will be for at least 2 more days...

it was a grand morning yesterday...

cool and less humid until around 10am...

that's when I came in...

there is so much more to do, but just happy we got started...

it was started to look pretty junky out there...

autumn clematis...

this one is ours...

its been coming up across the street for years now...

and we are finally getting some in our yard...

it is the sweetest smelling bloomer...

there are 4 areas that we have now that are coming forth with it...

but this is the biggest grouping so far...

and the bees are busy collecting from it, getting ready for the winter months coming...

hanging out with my guy today...

washing the bedding and maybe doing something outside very early this morning...
