another one...

crocus are doing well in this early spring we are having...

but so far, only this color...

we are starting yard work next weekend...

the raking of the flower beds...

and hauling debris to the burn pile...

too early to plant, but we can transplant a few things...

and here is another one...

the first one or two could have been a fluke...

but I think that they think its time...

I stepped outside Friday evening...

as the sun started down...

on the way up to check the mail...

and was amazed at the growth after the small amount of rain that we got...

sedum...

got a few things to do around here...

kids coming sometime today...

want to take a drive...

a load of laundry...

babies to play with...

we have 3 now...

have good days...

not a bad day, but not good, either...

many trips to the bathroom are happening here...

not sure if the new meds or what's going on...

but I don't "feel" sick...

just kicking back and listening to some oldies rock and roll...

puttering as the day goes on...

have good weekends!

if this subsides, we are heading for town...

to grab the stuff for the easter baskets for the "kids"...

and hit Goodwill...

its been awhile...

I will be treasure hunting...

and eating lunch out...

yesterday evening, as I was putting the finishing touches on supper...

and waiting for the guys to get back from picking up Craig's car...

(gas line repair)

I looked out the window...

gasped out loud...

(to which the critters thought me insane)

and grabbed for my camera...

(rose bush with leaves)

but not the main focus here...

can you believe this?

March 1st and the forsythia is blooming...

(that just doesn't happen in these parts)

we are on day 2 of cooler temperatures...

just hanging out until it warms up again...

( by the weekend)

supper last night...

chicken breast, gravy and mashed potatoes and green beans, tomatoes, onions and garlic...

it was good...

no recipe...

another dump day...

(open and dump what you have on hand)

happy days to you!

in like a lion...

March came in with thunderstorms in our area...

hail and tornadoes around us...

but we are safe...

and the flowers are blooming!

daffodils will be next...

tulips will follow...

and the lilacs...

all the spring, eastery flowers could be spent before it gets here...

does that mean iris for Easter this year?

and a new addition...

rummage sale find...

for $1...

so cute, but needs a bath...

on another note...

with politics being under our noses at every turn...

its hard not form our own opinions...

I am praying for unity for our country...

for Americans...

all Americans...

to love this land and do what is best for her...

to come together to make her better...

not tear her apart piece by piece, demonstrating their intolerance for anyone with a different view on things...

I do not support the women's right's movement...

I support our constitution...

our military and their families...

and I support our president...

God bless this land with your grace and your peace...

and keep us safe from those who wish to destroy us...

its time to stop holding things up, roll up our sleeves and get to work on making this the best place on earth again...

and we can do it...

we have it in us to overcome all obstacles...

and rise above...

and we can only do that by reaching above...

and hanging onto God's hand...
