Jody's flight yesterday morning was delayed...
it ended up being an 8 hour delay...
she would have missed her connecting flight...
the only option for yesterday was to re- route her on 3 different planes and having her land after midnight at home...
not an option...
that would have been 9 hours over her original landing time...
so they rescheduled her for this morning with the same times...
but flying out of an airport closer to us...
so here we are again...
up at 1am and them leaving at 2am...
they left 2 hours ago...
so should be there anytime now to check in...

we got a bit more time with her...
and we joked if this flight didn't work this morning...
we get to keep her...
pray for her today for a safe flight home...
she should be landing at home around 3 this afternoon...
have you ever met someone who just fit in the minute she walked in the door?
that in 3 weeks, we never needed a break from her and weren't counting down the days until she went back home?
that we are going to miss terribly...
she's one of those...
and she's a keeper...
