happy thoughts and new visitors...

its a beautiful Friday...

the sand cherries are in bloom...

daffodils are still going...

3 goldfinches showed up this morning...

and we believe a female blue bird...

a purple finch...

first one this year...

honey suckle...

morning doves...

Craig is off today and as soon as DH gets off work...

we are heading to Paris and the walk in clinic...

for follow-ups for Craig and I...

he had a reaction to the doxycycline...

but he is finished with it...

his hands are swollen and he sun burnt so bad yesterday...

keeping him in until this afternoon...

using benedryl and aloe on him...

he looks like a lobster...

yard work this weekend and the yard will be mowed for the first time!

Addie crossed over last night...

she had renal failure...

caused by kitty treats...

beware of Temptations...

she's the second loss in 7 weeks now for us...

cloudy, rainy days...

make things happen...

tulips should open today...

I need to plant more this fall...

its been in the 60s...

I usually have one or two here, but there are 6 this year...

lilacs have leaves and buds...

they will be blooming soon...

the sand cherries Craig found on clearance for $1 each are blooming...

and leaving out...

lily of the valley have broken ground...

and the peonies...

I worked on this last weekend...

I think it will be pretty when it all fills in now and we get the annuals in..

at the bottom of the feeder...

this is the crazy one...

it also feeds bunnies...

I can see the sun peaking through the fog this morning...

its trying to shine...

been too many cloudy days in a row for me!

looks like another good weekend to get things done outside...

the rain is past now...

have good days!

finally!

we got a whole weekend outside!

sand cherries are going to bloom!

leaves and debris be gone!

we are so sore!

but its a good sore!

worked in the side yard...

and we aren't done...

we made it almost down to the garden area...

and that can wait a few weeks...

not in any rush to plant...

I know we have some cold nights coming...

and mower guy will be here next weekend...

it is raining here today...

so not working outside after DH gets off work...

will have to wait a few days for it to dry out enough...

but its a major dent...
